  1. Sure, Fellaini would be awesome at winning headers...but he's not worth 25 million...and I doubt Moyes will sell his best midfielder for anything less than that. We have enough midfielders as it is. Unless Meireles + Essien + Malouda + Benayoun are all sold in this window, I don't see Chelsea buying an expensive midfielder.
  2. I don't see how Chelsea is going to raise 25 million from selling 3 players. Benayoun isn't worth more than 5-6 million...Essien is a massive injury risk...and Malouda isn't worth more than 8 million. I honestly hope Anzhi go crazy and bid around 12-15 million for Malouda & Meireles.
  3. Well according to the Wikipedia source provided...the German window also opens on 1st July...yet the Marin deal was announced mid season. Can't wait to see Hazard training/playing in a CFC shirt after July 1, 2012.
  4. I thought Dembele plays as a Winger/Second-striker...he can't play CM/DM like Cabaye.
  5. Arsenal 2 years ago?...well they still haven't won anything..and they still depend upon 1 striker. The end result hasn't changed.
  6. Hulk's doing the right thing. He's respecting his current club. It's not like United or Citeh are gonna sign Hulk for 38 million...we are the only EPL club with a serious interest. Anyway if Hulk doesn't come to Chelsea, there are plenty of talented wingers out there.
  7. Nobody really wants Essien anyway...apart from clubs based in Qatar. Don't see any decent European club taking a risk on Essien..when there are plenty of up and coming CM/DM's available at a fraction of the cost.
  8. Keeping Essien makes no sense. The injuries have taken all his ability away from him. From a top-class midfielder to a below-par midfielder in a few seasons. Well I guess Essien will be enjoying the Chelsea bench for the rest of his contract.
  9. Hulk for 38 million. Damn, why do we always get ripped off when purchasing players?
  10. My predictions: 1. United 2. Chelsea 3. City 4. Newcastle 5. Arsenal Hopefully Spurs finish alot lower than 6th. Can't wait to see Hazard in a CFC shirt. Relegation candidates: Wigan, Reading, Southampton..maybe even Swansea/Norwich with Rodgers & Lambert respectively joining 'bigger' clubs. Capital One Cup: Everton, Liverpool. FA Cup: Chelsea, might be a bit more difficult without Drogba.
  11. He's like the French Podolski. Inconsistent for club...but generally does well for country. I think he's one of Blanc's favourite players...and he's got the most caps out of the current French squad.
  12. How about your 'football is a business' theory? If we are signing Hazard and Hulk for around 70 million...then according to your business theory, some of our better players will be leaving right?
  13. As long as Pep knows how to win ugly, he'll be awesome at Chelsea.
  14. Would be awesome to see Tiote at Chelsea....M'Vila is off to Arsenal apparently as soon as they sort out his wages. I think KDB could be converted into a deep lying playmaker..
  15. Kagawa is a solid player. His best position is CAM but he's a fairly good option on the wings. Would be great to see him at Chelsea...but he seems to be headed for United...even though they don't need wingers.
  16. Well..Jo was just an overhyped player. Moving to Man City proved to be the end of his career. Doumbia has the talent to succeed in the EPL...but not sure if he can cut it at Chelsea. I think he'd thrive at a mid-table EPL club.
  17. No one is dismissing what Kalou and Bosingwa have done for Chelsea FC. All 11 players + substitutes helped us win the UCL trophy BUT that doesn't hide the fact that now is the best time for the likes of Kalou, Ferreira, Malouda, Essien to leave the club on a high. The end of the Mourinho era. Time for some fresh faces in the squad.
  18. Kalou, Ferreira, Malouda, Essien should depart on a high. Time for change. Let's start the rebuilding process.
  19. Damn..Come on Chelsea, make the announcement...time to move on from Kalou. He was never really good enough for Chelsea, only playing because we don't have any wingers at the club. With the possible purchase of Hulk/Hazard..and the addition of KDB & Marin, Kalou's time is up.
  20. Yeh, 75% possession...and still manage to lose the game. That would get boring, so much passing for nothing. I'm not saying I'm against attacking, attractive football..but our team is best suited to counter attack football.
  21. I wanna see him play CF for Chelsea. I think Sturridge and Lukaku could be a great front 2 in the future...but I guess the chances of those two playing together for Chelsea are highly unlikely. Just give him one chance...If he can't do anything at CF, then sell him. If he manages to score 15+ goals, keep him.
  22. That's good news. Bruma should get more playing time next season at Hamburg...and if he doesn't want to come back to Chelsea due to lack of first team opportunities, we can sell him off for a decent fee.
  23. He's a Chelsea great. Should retire here. Hope to see more of the Cahill---Luiz partnership next season. Hope both Terry and Lamps retire at CFC. Awesome players.
  24. UHHH...DUDE, the original post was by KonohasOrangeFlash not BlueLion. You might be confused due to very similar avatars.
  25. Not really...Liverpool are a cup team now & they want a young manager who can lead the club for many years. Would be awesome to see Guardiola at Chelsea..but I see him managing United rather than Chelsea. My only question is, if Roman goes chasing after Guardiola, does that mean RDM will leave his interim manager role...because I don't think he's gonna stick around for 1 year...he'd probably go manage Lazio or Villa from next season.
