Our failed pursuit of Wayne Rooney and Ozil going to Arsenal(Lukaku would have stayed as Ba was going on loan to Arsenal) has been one of the major reasons why we could not win a trophy this year. A semi final finish is what some teams dream of and we did that without a proper striker. The fact that we were in contention of the league till the last month also shows great potential. Next season will be much better because of 2-3 clinical signings. This seasons experience has truly been invaluable and will help us progress with greater confidence.

There are people here who actually believe that Jose wants him and hence are so for this move. He's a great player but don't really think he'll join us. His style suits Liverpool and Arsenal. I am sure we'll get someone equally good as him(that is if Jose wants another attacking player)

Kalas debut>Wilson debut. Not being biased here but the defender played against a way stronger team and did an excellent job of handling Suarez and other top players. 2 goals on debut is a great achievement but I feel the defender deserves equal if not more praise.

We simply can just be after every inform player. Reus is a terrific player and has been consistently performing for Dortmund but that does not mean we should fork out 35m+ on a player who we do not need at all. Our attacking midfielders are of top quality and will perform for us next season. If Jose is planning on selling Willian or Schurrle then maybe this deal will be realistic but till then we should forget about him and just hope he stays with the German club.

Forget about City.Gus Poyet has done a wonderful job at Sunderland.

I'm a fan too but Ross needs another season of first team action and sadly he won't get that here.

Jose won't take the risk of giving one striker the full responsibility of leading the team because the player may not always be in form and be able to perform and hence why he'd want 2 hungry strikers. If Lukaku does well then he will play more often so I don't think game time should really be an issue this season.

I doubt Jose will stick with one striker for every game and if you ask me,I think Jose will pick his players based only on form and nothing else. A player like Lukaku will provide great competition to Costa/Cavani and at the end of the day that is what this club needs.2 hungry strikers always giving 100 percent.

He should stay with Everton for at least one more season.

Everton and Chelsea are two different clubs. The situation and expectations are very different so I am sure Lukaku will understand if he does not get to play every week at Chelsea. Last season he had to fight with 3 strikers hence why he left. This time it'll be with 2 and mainly with Costa/Cavani.

I don't think Lukaku expects that he will be the main striker straightaway. Probably just wants to be given a few chances so that he can prove himself that he is capable of starting more often. We should have 2 good strikers and a decent third option. Also Lukakus premier league experience may come in handy because a player like Costa/Cavani may take few games to adapt.

I'd like to see him get a chance before even thinking of selling him.
