  1. I think this pointless debate should just stop now. If Term X is against this whole deal then so be it, its his opinion and arguing against it will not make him change his mind.
  2. If he performs well then he could be like a new signing for us next season.
  3. Losing pre season games helps the team to learn more and help avoid mistakes in the future. Well done to Bremen for the victory.
  4. well thats true. no need to get angry for stupid things. We sold him for 28m! lets move on
  5. Okay so the club did offer an extension but Frank respectfully declined because he did not want to end up like Ferreira here. A contract extension would have just kept him at the club for another season,it wouldn't have given him the chance to continue on playing regularly.
  6. Frank wants to play regularly and remain in top condition. Had he stayed here,he wouldn't have gotten the chance to play often so staying on for another would have been pointless. His move to the MLS allows him to stay fit and continue on playing every week. Quite clearly it was the perfect deal for him. He could have signed for LA Galaxy and come back to train with us but he chose NYCFC because he wanted to live in New York.
  7. Excited about this match. Will finally get to see Courtois and Drogba in action!
  8. Move on people. Watch a youtube video to refresh your memory of what this player has done for us. No need to get so bitter just because he's agreed to a loan move to City. The only reason behind the loan move is because he wants to continue playing at the highest level and I am glad he chose the MLS instead of signing for another premier league club. He could have easily gone to QPR(which could have been far worse) where he could have teamed up with his uncle and continued to live in London. Also its quite clear that he still wants to play for England.
  9. I admire his determination to stay fit and competitive. Maybe its a message to Roy to show that he can still play for England. Also I am quite sure Jose and the club would have known about this so there shouldn't be any hard feelings.
  10. The plan is to tell Jose all about their tactics and ideas! Sneaky sneaky Jose! But jokes aside, this really is a messed up deal.
  11. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_to0ILJCQk#t=22 Miss him
  12. I think its clear now that Jose does not only judge a player by his abilities but also on his attitude towards change. I mean the prime example has to be Azpi, the guy did an incredible job and his hard work paid off. Even Schurle understood the situation and trained hard to adjust to the change. This kind of spirit and attitude is very rare to find and I am glad Ake has remained patient and followed their footsteps. Though,Its a shame Lukaku did not do the same.
  13. Oscar is 22 years old. 22!!!!!!! FFS he's supposed to be the future of this club!
  14. Relax. Jose is the Littlefinger of this league. He can never be trusted.
  15. I don't expect him to be at Everton for long. Maybe 3 years max because this guy will do whatever is best for his career( not a bad thing)
  16. lol deal makes sense. I bet we have a lot of other young players who could join on loan as well. Shame Kalas got loaned out early because a PL loan would have done him good.
  17. Knowing that its Atheltico,in 3-6 years, he will be sold for at least 10 times that amount.
  18. Finally get to see him in Chelsea colours! So happy he's back!
  19. umm you want him to thank fans before the move even gets officially announced? He hasn't even had an interview yet! Can empathise but this is just a childish reaction.
  20. can't question his appreciation yet as we still await his interview as an Everton player. Yes he did support Chelsea but the guy wants to concentrate on his career and only he knows what is best for him. We all would have loved him here as second choice striker but it seems that the Lukaku wants to be first choice and so be it. It is his life and it's totally up to him to decide where he wants to play. If I was working at my dream company say Google but did not have a big role and had the chance to work at a different company say Yahoo( where I hadworked for a year and felt valued) and on top of that got a bigger role then I would definitely switch jobs. May not be the perfect but I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.
  21. No need to be so bitter about him leaving. He's a talented young player and I hope he does well in the future. Unfortunately things could not happen here but that does not change my views about him as a player. Good luck!
  22. I am not keen on the idea of sending a legend like Cech out of the club just so we could get Cavani. Cech should be allowed to decide where he wants to play and honestly the club should be having the money to buy someone like Cavani. If Cech wants the PSG move then your suggested deal would work otherwise it would be a massive sign of disrespect.
  23. Singing another striker will help eliminate the doubt of whether we can win it with the 3 options available to us now or not. It won't surprise me if Jose sanctioned the sale of Lukaku just so he could get a chance to get rid of Torres and in return get a new striker. We look quite set in the other positions so our last possible signing could very well be a striker. However if we do not buy anyone now then maybe Jose wants to wait till January to see for another option as Drogba will be participating in the AFCON. Best scenario would be getting Cavani but lets see what happens.
