He'll have more assists this season because we finally have a real striker in the team.

This season is going to be really exciting. IF United finish in the top 4 then it'll be interesting to see who amongst City,Arsenal and Liverpool will fail to achieve that. (yes,we'll win the league)

Jenknison to Hull. Guess the Chambers deal really is a gamble. Could have persisted with Jenkinson and spent that 20m elsewhere.
-
maybe it has to do more with his attitude than his ability.
-
He needs to remain patient. Torres will leave in 2 years and so its imperative that he has 2 good loan spells. If we can get rid of Torres before that then I am sure we'll see more of him soon.

It think its unfair to criticise Jose for youth development. Its no secret that our main priority is to win the league so if Jose feels that the use of young inexperienced players should be minimal then one can't really argue against it. However I am sure he'll give them few chances in the Carling Cup and against opponents where we've established a strong lead. The exposure may not be much but I guess thats the best he can do considering the priority is to win a major trophy. Our academy players will get chances but it won't happen so soon. Managerial longevity is the key to youth development success and so we as fans must remain patient. We must decide if we want to either win trophies this year or really develop young players because achieving both will not be possible. Rodgers used his first year at Liverpool to establish a philosophy and prepare for the future and this as a result lead them to finish outside the top 4. So, I guess its important that we do not worry so much and have faith in our manager and club.

Not his fault, Ake's cross was too powerful so there is no point blaming Torres. Come on Torres. We all support you here. You're the best FT9. Form is temporary class is permanent!
-
Liverpool have pulled out of the deal to sign Loic Remy after realising he wasn't a Southampton player.
-
"Hello, is this Southampton FC?" . . . . . "I'd like to buy your goalposts." LOL
-
Should probably rename their club to SouthPool.
-
then in that case I wouldn't mind if Mikel stayed!
-
Playing him deep will give us that extra bit of creativity(provided that Oscar performs consistently) and at the same time gives us the luxury of having two world class options for the number 10 role.
-
We'll see many Chelsea players in action. will be a fun game to watch.
-
He's been here for quite a long time but hopefully his Chelsea journey will end this season. Mikel was always the player who did the dirty work and for that he will always have my appreciation and respect. Hope he can go to a good club where he'll be able to play regularly. Honestly,it'd be the best solution for both parties.

Its amazing how SImeone managed to beat Madrid and Barcelona to the title. Great signing and I hope the club continues to do well.

Twitter has really made some fans crazy.
-
It will take some time for him to readapt to the league and form an understanding with the midfielders. So. I won't expect an immediate impact. Also expectations should not be high because he will primarily be used as a squad player. The intention is to give Costa and Lukaku a lot of match time as they are our future.
-
Nah wouldn't want him to be the captain. I am sure in 2 years we'll get some new candidates.
-
YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I BELIEVE IN TORRES! CMON NANDO!
-
No point getting too attached now. Kakuta also got the same hype about a few years ago but sadly couldn't make it. My advice would be to stay calm and wait for Jose to give a few first team starts.
-
I have a feeling that Torres will leave and Jose will choose Drogba to replace him which makes perfect sense as Costa and Lukaku will get the chance to play more often. A strikeforce of Costa-Lukaku and Drogba looks really deadly. Hope this happens.
-
cant wait to see this thread change from Ex-Blues to Current Squad.
-
This here shows true ambition and hunger to succeed. Great attitude,if he does not succeed here then I really want him to do well wherever he goes.
-
Liverpool probably have the best chance of signing Cavani. United could get him too but selling Rooney will be a tough task as PSG may be the only club willing to match his wages and that won't happen since that would defy the whole point of selling Cavani.
