I believe Drogba would really improve our squad as Jose would have the luxury of picking from 4 strikers. Having him in the team will make the strike force less riskier and wouldn't affect the 3 strikers we have at the moment. His role as a player would obviously depend upon the situations but something tells me that he'll link up quite well with Hazard,Oscar and the other attacking players. Also his presence will really help Lukaku and the other young players. I am sure Jose will consider him as a coach first and then player. Its no secret that we are gunning for the title this year so its important that we are well equipped both physically( in terms of players quality and quantity) and mentally( the champions attitude and hunger to win)

If he is not going to leave this summer then its perfectly clear that he'll see out his contract. There is nothing we can do as other clubs aren't interested in him anymore and are reluctant to meet his wages. So I believe there is no point of bashing him. Just have to wait and utilise him somehow. Although I really hope he joins Villa and Lampard in the MLS. He'd continue to earn big and perhaps may even be quite a hit there. Also, I am sure he would sell many shirts

If the rumours are true then we'll have a very strong strike force(assuming Lukaku does not leave.) A player/coach role would be perfect for the young players and the club. The youngsters(again Lukaku) would benefit a lot and Drogba as a player would help us too. I always wanted to know how he would perform with Oscar and Hazard supplying him passes. Now that we have a better squad,Drogba could be quite lethal for us but his role would be quite minimal as he may take sometime to readapt. Anyways, I am totally on board with this move. His presence will truly motivate the players and it'll be great to have the Legend back.

I have to disagree here. There is no way Moses offers the same defensively as Willian. Moses will try to help out but at times he can be very lazy. Willian has had a few remarkable games for us and consistency is his only issue. Also kind of unfair to judge him after just 1 season in the premier league. Give him some time and I am sure he'll do equally well offensively.

Imagine if we didn't sign him. His value would have doubled and probably ended up elsewhere. Good work done by the club and credit to Andre for working hard!

well that's harsh. Willian definitely isn't worth the 30m we paid for but he's a type of player Jose really needs in his team. His defensive work helped us many times last season and yes attacking may not be that great as his defending but hopefully that'll improve now. Not many players will offer the same level of intensity and energy on both halves of the pitch.

Pogba is happy at Juventus. The club will probably cash in on Vidal instead so there is little chance of Pogba leaving this summer.

We could have signed Shaw but Luis guarantees us a greater impact as he is more experienced and is familiar with our style of football. Great signing!

If Lukaku plays better than Torres then yes he will get to play more. Jose dropped Casillas so I don't think we should be worried about Lukaku vs Torres.

Maybe he's just afraid that the club will bring in another striker but since thats highly unlikely now,I am sure he'll be happy to stay with the club he loves.

Lets not get too aggressive. He's the perfect second choice striker for us and we must keep him. Playing second choice does not mean he won't get game time. Jose will pick players based on form so I think there will be some heavy competition amongst our strikers. Selling him will not be the wise thing to do here. The lad is ambitious and we must not take everything he says in the wrong way. Keep some faith in him and hope everything works out.

Smart move by Jose. He knows that Romeu has the talent and instead of selling him now for a small fee,he could go for a bigger amount if he has a good loan spell. Also there might be a chance of him playing for us in the future so I guess its not a bad deal.
