I know it's Man United and there's potentially the lure of Champions League but don't get why would any top player in their right mind want to play for Mourinho. Have they not watched Mourinho's football? Have they not seen or read the amount of BS Mourinho does to his players?

That only applies to Pot 2, 3, and 4. UEFA changed the system a few years ago. Pot 1 now consists of champions of the 8 highest ranked nations. The other 3 pots will feature teams based on their club coefficient. Had they not changed it, we would be in Pot 2 for next season's draw.

That may be true but considering it's only the group stage, I would rather us get an 'easy' one so that we don't have to expand too much energy and can focus on domestic matters as well as have a good chance of progressing to the knockout stage. It would be embarrassing if we get KOed from the group stage again.
