This talk of Conte leaving would be much more believable if we are still experiencing same situation this time next month. Right now, there's still time to sort things out and a tad too early to press the panic button.
On one hand, it feels like there are some truth but on the other, it feels the journalists are feeding off on the paranoia of fans to get more clicks. I mean, aren't those the general concerns that we have had for years?
Just speculating. You do have a point there but the presentation is usually done when the player signing is announced. Can't be having them holding the adidas kit, can they?
That's assuming he's actually even pissed off and not the media feeding on the fans' paranoia with these rumours.

Maybe but doubt their main objective is to challenge Juventus for the title. Serie A have 4 Champions League spots next season and that will be their main target.
Maybe James isn't worth 70m but considering the state of the transfer market these days and the money that's flying around, you gotta pay big money to get the big players, players that will add quality to the team. This reluctance of splashing the cash on such players is one of the main reasons why we have ended up buying duds for cheap and with a flawed squad in recent years.
Will people ever make up their mind over Hazard's defensive work? When he was asked to track back under Mourinho, people were going mad about how he's an attacking player and he shouldn't need to do a defender's job. Now when he's tasked to do less on defending and more on attacking, people accuse him of being lazy.
Adrian Clarke might have a point here...

This situation is getting stupidly messy. Assuming what Costa said is true, it seems silly that Conte has cut ties when our striking situation is still yet to be resolved. Are we really going into the ssn with just Lukaku and god knows who else? Gonna be awkward if we can't sell Costa and he has to be integrated back into the team.
Curious about one thing - think we will continue playing with a back 3 as our default formation but what happens when Conte leaves? Is the club gonna find a manager who primarily plays that system? If not, we could be in for some major reshuffling again in the future.
