  1. I don't think I can take it if Liverpool AND Arsenal win both European competitions...
  2. Would be funny to see him "take on" the big egos in that PSG dressing room. And if he does go to PSG, then it really makes him a twat after all those comments about missing his family back in Spain.
  3. Remember, fellas. Conte once said this... "When you have 10 euros in your pocket, you can’t eat in a restaurant where the meal will cost you 100"
  4. Yes, we get that his family is in Spain and it's hard for him. If he's mentioned that only once in regards to his future, then I think the fans can understand his reason and wish him if/when he does leave. But the issue is, he has constantly talked about his future and always have an eye elsewhere. Each time, he's talked even more than the previous time about it and some times, the family thing doesn't even come to the equation, making it feel like he wants to move there because it's Madrid rather than anything else.
  5. To be fair, don't think the source that's quoted is the most reliable around. That aside, I really do wonder if he'll actually do well in that Madrid side. I mean, if he's already not making saves on a consistent basis for us, then what makes Madrid they're going to do that for them when their defence tends to be exposed and is more vulnerable than ours? Also, is Keylor Navas really that bad? He's seemingly always done a good job them and yet, they are constantly talking about replacing him.
  6. Could argue that one has the track record and the other doesn't. Both represent risks in their own way and Sarri is bigger of a risk than Allegri at the moment.
  7. FML! Real Madrid have like 999 lives, don't they? They keep getting away with it in the Champions League. No way that defence is gonna survive Liverpool's attack in the final.
  8. He's good but don't think he is as good as the hype. I mean sure, his goalscoring record is impressive but can hardly remember him being decisive - be it with his goals or performance or both - in the really big Champions League games. That Dortmund v Real game aside, can't think of any other game.
  9. You said you gave up a long time ago and yet, you're still hoping. Make up your mind!
  10. Seems like Azpi is the only first team player who's interested/invested in what's going on with the Ladies, Youth teams etc.
  11. Even if we sell Zouma, we have enough CBs in the team, especially if we revert to a back 4. But if we decide to sell Cahill, Luiz, then it becomes a different story.
  12. Good to see you don't think a young player is overrated for once.
  13. What's your thoughts on Mount? Think he can make it here or is just overrated/overhyped?
  14. Yes. I highly doubt that will ever be broken.
  15. He's not wrong but Conte himself isn't blameless. Who's the one constantly plays down the squad quality, demoralizes the players? Who's the one always sets the team up so defensively, even when facing a defeat? Who's the one decided to play False 9 in games when we have a striker available? Plus, it's worth noting that only TWO players have scored more than 20 goals per season and only TWICE that has happened under Conte - Tevez for Juventus in 2013/14 and Costa for us last season. Sure, we should be more clinical with our chances but Conte himself should also look at his own pragmatic, defensive tactics that's holding the team back from doing more offensively.
  16. Never mind not beating Liverpool under Conte, we have beaten them only ONCE at the Bridge in the last 8 years! In fact, we have beaten them more times at Anfield than at the Bridge in the period!
  17. Chelsea 1-0 Liverpool PRE/POST-MATCH DISCUSSION, LIVE CHAT AND ANALYSIS 2017/18 Premier League Match 36 6th May, Sunday, 2018 Stamford Bridge 16:30 Kick Off (UK time)
  18. Barcelona was rumored to be interested in Cahill once before and that turned out to be BS. Likely to be same case here.
  19. How is it not a big difference? Haven't we all been complaining about Alonso's lack of pace at LWB? Yes, he has those characteristics you mentioned but pace is also important. Having quick defenders can allow to play higher up the pitch if needed. Wouldn't want to end up in a scenario where the opposition will just constantly target Alonso by having quick players up against him or get caught out because opposition just play the long ball over him for players to run into.
  20. Alonso at CB? Really? He is so slow and turns like a tank. Any striker with the tiniest of pace would be able to get the better of him.
