  1. No. Nothing official whatsoever on it. Just a silly rumour started on Twitter.
  2. Moses's Twitter account -> www.twitter.com/victormoses Has been verified and followed by club's official Twitter account.
  3. Maybe or we would have ended up shipping 5-6 goals back then...
  4. True but anyone from Pot 2 is gonna be tough for us. Wouldn't be surprised if we get Benfica again and we would then be hearing Jorge Jesus ranting about us, again...
  5. Absolutely agree there. Mandzukic is more of a all rounder type of striker than Gomez will ever be. Offers so much more to Bayern compared to Gomez just like you mentioned there. Mandzukic links up the play way more than Gomez as his one is basically non-existent. If you don't give him chances to score in games, you're practically playing with 10 men.
  6. This might be a reason. http://www.bettingexpert.com/blog/5-tactical-observations-august-2012
  7. Sounds like he's an upgrade on Savic...
  8. Here's a profile of Nastasic if anyone is interesed.
  9. So much for people predicting PSG to walkover Ligue 1 this season. On the other hand, Montpellier haven't made the best of starts to the season too, lost twice and drew the other. Only Marseille have a 100% record still after 3 games and they beat Montpellier at the weekend.
  10. Never believe a manager when they say that. Wouldn't read too much into it really. Essien, Malouda and Benayoun all were there and could still find themselves leaving the club.
  11. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4508987/Frank-Lampard-Id-love-John-Terry-to-lift-Champions-League-trophy.html Great read that!
  12. Good read. Regarding Lampard, the problem with him and AVB wasn't about dropping the former to the bench but more because AVB did not communicate with him or any other players for that matter. RDM is currently doing what AVB failed to do, which is talk to the players and explain to them when making a decisions in terms of putting them on the bench or using them in a specific role in the team etc. And besides, Lampard have played 3 games in 1 week prior to the Newcastle game and with him being 34 already, I'm sure he would understand if he is to be rested and rotated once in awhile.
  13. Can't see us selling Sturridge off at this stage of the transfer window and leave us with just Torres. We'll be basically shooting ourselves in the foot if we do that. Teams will then just hike the price of their striker that we want as they know we would be desperate to get one in. We have done extremely well with our transfer purchases so far and I don't see us doing something as silly as that right now. IF we do want to sell Sturridge, then get in a replacement first before selling. That said, want to see us have 3 STs as options rather than just 2.
  14. Cheers for the votes guys. Much appreciated. And gone for xPetrCechx since TorontoChelsea did not make it into the poll.
  15. Looks like Martinez is now officially a Bayern player. Quite surprised that he wants to go there but better than joining City or United I guess.
  16. Brendan Rodgers has said Downing may have to play at left back if he is to save his career at Liverpool.
  17. Maybe because it's a long season ahead in the Championship and the respective managers want to keep them as fresh as possible?

  20. Not saying the rumours are true but let's just say it is, then it could be because of this.
  21. Have the edited the first post after tonight's results and it has affected the lineup for the pots a bit. 1. Braga's win over Udinese puts them straight into the Pot 2. There will be 3 Portuguese teams in the CL this season while there are only 2 Italian teams in Milan and Juventus. 2. With Malaga beating Panathinaikos, it pushes PSG into Pot 3 which is in the same pot as Juventus. 3. Ajax will now be in the Pot 3 as the last spot in Pot 2 will be down to between Dynamo Kiev and Olympiacos.
