I really don't know where to start with this. Absolutely pissed off with the abject and abysmal performance. Just cannot believe we already toss 2 of the 7 trophies down the drain like that. One was because of a stupid challenge and the other, well, nobody bothered to turn up. Everyone in the team need a proper kick up the arse. No urgency. No tempo. No passion. No desire. Someone from the board is seriously asking for trouble if they are seriously thinking of loaning another player to Arsenal. Why are we so charitable all of a sudden, trying to loan players to a direct rival that can help them achieve their aims?!!

The idea of loaning Sturridge to Liverpool is just plain silly, just like what we did with Benayoun last season. Why are we even trying to strengthen a rival that will challenge us for a spot in the Top 4?! Furthermore, it makes no sense whatsoever to loan Sturridge out when he's only got a year left in his contract. It's either we sell him or keep him!

Said before, City have to play Madrid(though at home) on the same matchday as us playing Juventus away. Not too bad there I suppose. The one I think is most concerning is we play Spurs(A), Shakhtar(A) and United(H) all in one week. On that midweek we play Shakhtar in Ukraine, United are at home to Braga.

Will be interesting to see how we deal with him. Let him control the midfield and that will be our downfall.

Yes but we can't just ignore the present because of the future. We have also gotta think of our current situation with the team. Suicidal to go into a long season especially this one with just Torres and Sturridge or just 2 strikers for that matter. Rotations/Injuries/Suspensions all will come into place. IF Torres get injured or suffers a dip in form, then we only have 1 striker in Sturridge to turn to. We'll probably have to flogged him to death when that happens. Furthermore, having another striker will also give us another option when needed in certain games. City and United all have 4 STs in their team that can give them different variations. Not saying we should have as many STs as them but at least 3 is needed especially we have so many matches to play this season and if we really want to challenge for the top honours.

We still do. Getting another ST is really crucial.
