  1. Just look how he attracted 3 players to him on the ball and created that space for Torres.
  2. The penalties he won doesn't count as an assist.
  3. Agree and he also showed that he is willing to do the 'dirty' work too, tracking back and helping the team out defensively. He has a good defensive work rate and proved that he is not a prima donna type of player who thinks he doesn't have to defend just because of his attacking ability.
  4. Mentioned this in the Newcastle game thread; the last 9 UEFA Super Cup winners have been alternated between Champions League winners and UEFA Cup/Europa League winners and the last team to win it is Barcelona, the 2011 Champions League winner. Time to rewrite the record books... Desperately want us to win this. A win here would maintain our recent momentum and good run while the opposite result would be a setback and we'll have to wait 2 weeks before being able to get back to winning ways.
  5. Just cannot believe people's obsession with passing stats.
  6. It's alright. MAF has summarized up the interview. Thanks.
  7. Every time a player like Dembele performs well against a big club, their thread here 'explodes' with some jumping into the bandwagon again. Don't need Dembele. We need another striker and a creative deep lying playmaker now more than anything else.
  8. Agree. Suits everyone especially with City at home to QPR next weekend.
  9. Cheers. Aah, thought so. Thanks.
  10. An interview Hazard did with the French media. http://videos.tf1.fr/telefoot/exclusif-eden-hazard-ses-premiers-pas-a-chelsea-7474066.html It's in French though. Didn't understand a single thing.
  11. Twitter again. Where was he confirmed as the MOTM against Newcastle? I know Sky gave it to Mikel from what I saw.
  12. Just testing the crowd. And I never kept on bringing up how "ladies are doing to love him". That was @CHOULO19,!
  13. Arsenal may have dropped points but a draw at the Britannia is not necessarily a bad result. Only Newcastle from Top 6 last season won there. And while Arsenal have yet to score this season, they have kept 2 clean sheets and looked solid today against Stoke compared to previous seasons.
  14. Deary me. Children these days really need proper guidance...
  15. Really? Any confirmation or source? Sorry for being paranoid here.
  16. RDM said last week or the week before that he will speak to the Spanish FA about it and read that even Mata has gone to them and asked to be rested from the WCQ matches.
  17. http://justalittleblue07.tumblr.com/post/30239300306/welcome-to-chelsea-football-club-cesar Just saw that on Twitter. @francozola and some others will like that.
  18. There is definitely improvement though I'm still not quite happy with Torres's game just yet but I'm not going into that again.
  19. Similar problems to last few seasons really. Only Mata last season was the one constantly on the move, offering himself as a passing option while the rests usually just stand still when others are on the ball or after they pass. No off the ball movement whatsoever.
  20. Looking at the Villa team yesterday, it just bereft of quality and very much a stark contrast to the team they had like 2-3 years ago under Martin O'Neill.
  21. Wouldn't mind him. Offers something different to what we have right now though I'm not sure if he's willing to spend some time on the bench and rotate with Torres and Sturridge a bit.
