Agree and he also showed that he is willing to do the 'dirty' work too, tracking back and helping the team out defensively. He has a good defensive work rate and proved that he is not a prima donna type of player who thinks he doesn't have to defend just because of his attacking ability.

Mentioned this in the Newcastle game thread; the last 9 UEFA Super Cup winners have been alternated between Champions League winners and UEFA Cup/Europa League winners and the last team to win it is Barcelona, the 2011 Champions League winner. Time to rewrite the record books... Desperately want us to win this. Arsenal may have dropped points but a draw at the Britannia is not necessarily a bad result. Only Newcastle from Top 6 last season won there. And while Arsenal have yet to score this season, they have kept 2 clean sheets and looked solid today against Stoke compared to previous seasons.

There is definitely improvement though I'm still not quite happy with Torres's game just yet but I'm not going into that again.

Similar problems to last few seasons really. Only Mata last season was the one constantly on the move, offering himself as a passing option while the rests usually just stand still when others are on the ball or after they pass. No off the ball movement whatsoever.
