You're missing the point here. I'm not doubting Kalas's quality but he's still relatively inexperience and may well need time to adjust. Just because others from the weaker leagues have succeeded, doesn't mean everyone would, at least not immediately. Still won't know how will he fare and mind you, it's different pressure altogether playing with us challenging for major honours and players like the one you mentioned playing at clubs with lower ambition & different objectives. Moreover as I have already pointed out, if we sell Luiz, we would then have only 3 experience but average CBs in Terry, Cahill and Ivanovic. Partnering one of them with Kalas doesn't exactly fill me with confidence and also for the reason CHOULO mentioned.

Being able to perform and perform well in the Dutch league and at the highest level in the Premier League along with Europe are 2 different matters altogether. Not saying he won't come good, which he might, but at the moment, I wouldn't trust him at CB with Terry, Cahill or Ivanovic throughout the entire season especially if we want to win the mahor trophies.

This is getting hilarious. Tried to point out the fact that we didn't lose those games because of Mikel and only Mikel by looking at other factors which majorly led more to it than Mikel and you are just constantly redirecting everything to Mikel and trying to put all the blame on him when it shouldn't be. vs Manchester City Mikel may not have played well against Man City in the matches last season but did any of the other players actually performed against them? No. In all of those games, the entire team - back to front - basically got dominated and no one played well. We failed to win any of those games because the entire team didn't play, not just because of Mikel. vs Atletico Madrid Questions have to be raised at the defensive pivot but didn't know they were the only one that played against Atletico Madrid. Tell me, what were the entire team doing against Atletico whenever they attack? We basically saw a striker practically tore us into pieces especially the back 4 by himself. Was it Mikel's fault that Falcao took us to the cleaner when not 1 of the CBs or even the full backs marked him?! vs West Ham Ha! I said we completely dominated the first half and should have scored more than just the 1 goal then because we played extremely well. The whole team. But in the 2nd half, we completely capitulated because of Diame. Did anyone even know how to deal with him? The point here is that bleedsblue threw out that comparison stats to highlight the supposed uselessness of Mikel when he plays and doesn't play without context. He tried to make it sound as if Mikel was a major factor in those difference when it isn't at all and there were other factors dictating them. Hence, why I brought up those factors which partly includes the team's performances that led to those defeats. Mikel didn't play well yes but to mainly him as an excuse for the difference in those winning percentages is nonsense.
