IMO, Pjanic has somewhat stagnated since he went to Roma, partly because of the reason mentioned. He needs to go to another club where the playing style suits him and a manager that can bring the best out of him.

Pjanic has been linked with Real Madrid before in past years and was reportedly wanted by Mourinho. So, you never know.... But not getting hopes up on this. That is until if and/or any of the English/Italia media picks up on it.

The thing is, he mentioned 'as the 2nd midfielder'. And that could meant him playing as 1 of the 2 midfielders in a 3 men midfield in a 4-3-3 as opposed to 1 of the 2 in a pivot. At Benfica, he has always played as a right shuttler midfielder in their diamond midfield IIRC. And most of his better games for us in past years have come when he plays in a 4-3-3.

Think Ramires meant himself playing in a role that allows him to bomb forward as well, not just defend.

Think Luiz's passing accuracy is something he needs to work on. He has the ability to play those long diagonal passes from side to side but think sometimes he becomes too ambitious in doing so, when the opportunity presents itself, that either he overpass or underpass it. And I believe many of us have been frustrated with him when his those long passes end up aimlessly and harmlessly in the opposition GK's hand or goes out for a goal kick/throw-in.
