  1. Dawson committed the foul but ref sent off McAuley instead.
  2. THREE easy points for City and Arsenal tdoay...
  3. He wouldn't be playing week in week out for Atletico if he wasn't a consistent performer.
  4. We should maybe try to throw in a cheeky bid for Dzeko in the summer. Such an underrated player.
  5. Just gave away a penalty against Bournemouth. Boro 1-0 down after 15 minutes.
  6. A player of exceptional natural ability and vision? Has the talent to retain his status?? :O
  7. Tottenham’s Harry Kane: John Terry the hardest defender I’ve faced
  8. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/chelsea/11486800/Victor-Moses-rejected-return-to-Chelsea.html Mourinho wanted to bring Moses back in January but he rejected it.
  9. Players not getting selected for their national side, especially during the season, is good news for us.
  10. Europa League draw earlier: Sevilla v Zenit Dnipro v Club Brugge Dynamo Kiev v Fiorentina Wolfsburg v Napoli The first and fourth tie there should pretty interesting to watch. Was hoping for... Bayern Munich v Barcelona Real Madrid v Juventus PSG v Atletico Madrid Porto v Monaco
  11. Mourinho has sure been talking a lot about Loftus-Cheek. Waiting to see if he will do what he says next season with him. Won't get all excited just yet.
  12. Granted the performances in 2015 have not been great but I don't get why are people making such a big fuss of us dropping points against the lesser sides. It happens to every big team in every league. United may be average when we played them (have they not been average for much of the season anyway?) but they are still United and they carry a threat. People are being arrogant if they think United have suddenly turned into some pub side and we should be walking over them. We've basically only dropped points against 3 lesser sides this season - Newcastle, Sunderland and Burnley. The rest aren't. There are still 10 games to go but compared to previous season, we've been better in not dropping silly points against the said kind of teams.
  13. Underwhelming draws really. PSG v Barcelona - Already played each other in the group stage and met in the quarter finals two seasons ago. Atletico v Real - This will be the 7th and 8th meetings between the two this season! Atletico unbeaten against Real - W4 D2. Porto v Bayern - Tricky first leg in Portugal but Bayern should win this nicely over two legs. Juventus v Monaco - Meh. Almost feels like a one-side tie.
  14. I doubt Mourinho is suddenly going to go all Guardiola and start playing Hazard down the middle. He'll always play with a proper striker upfront.
  15. He's been called up to the France senior squad.
  16. And De Bruyne wasn't the first player who said that. It seems as though Mourinho tends to give the cold shoulder treatment to the players he doesn't trust/like in his team.
  17. I don't necessarily disagree that Schurrle didn't play well when given the matches but the thing is, he was never going to get any rhythm to his game and build his fitness by playing 1 match here, 1 match there etc, especially when he recovered from a serious illness. You can't expect a player to just turn it on after spending so many weeks on the sidelines. Even Costa himself has needed some consistent game time to his rhythm going again after all those suspensions. I also don't get why what he said there is considered as excuses. He was only explaining about his current state (it's silly whenever some one tries to explain about a situation he/she just endured, people just immediately associate it as making excuses. Such a lazy thing to do).
  18. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/juan-mata-lined-up-20million-5350848 He's been linked with a move back to Valencia.
  19. The issue is, Mourinho didn't have same level of trust on all the players to begin with. There are some he trusts and some he doesn't. Some players can play badly and make mistakes but won't ever get dropped (with the exception of Cahill but even then, it took Mourinho until a 5-3 defeat to drop him). Others, the minute they play badly and/or make a mistake, we won't see him again until 4-5 games later or last 5-10 minutes of some random matches. Because of this, there has been a lack of competition and rotation in the squad and we are paying the price of players suffering from fatigue in 2015.
  20. BAMFORD!!! Just scored a huge goal at Derby! https://vine.co/v/OVpHjFzUPp7
  21. That's the problem really. We all knew beforehand about Mourinho and his untouchables but he's been incredibly stubborn with his team selection. Before the season started, he already formed pre-conceived notion on the players and he's not willing to change, especially on those who are not in the starting XI.
  22. The only problem is, we have just 2 players who can do that - Fabregas and Hazard. The rest can't even make a simple 5-yard pass to save their lives to begin with.
  23. The thing is, he's not even racking up the assist from set pieces anymore.
  24. Flopping? Hecking already said it will take time for Schurrle to get going again because he had no rhythm when he was still playing for us. So, to throw in terms like 'flopping' is nonsense.
  25. 15. Must get 6 more to break the record, 5 to tie with it.
