  1. I agree with the second part but not the first. If the highly unlikely scenario off Essien coming back to form should occur, its by no means certain that he'll be sold. We aren't Arsenal, clubs can't sign our players unless we want to sell them. Unless the clause is smallish, around 10-15 million or less. I hope we've left it out around the 25 million mark. If the former were the case then my entire post would be irrelevant.
  2. He'll get in the squad, probably. The FFF love Malouda.
  3. What makes you think Pep is any better at managing egos? He could not handle Ronaldinho, Deco, Ibrahimovic or Eto'o.
  4. He pissed off the trio of Ballack, Cech and Drogba, who used their position as the most powerful figures at the club and got him sacked. The difference between them and the English bloc was that they always sided with Roman, which made them more popular with him than the captain and vice captain.
  5. We can't afford to lose another midfielder, unless we plan to play a 4-1-5 or something.
  6. They could all have been driven away, with ease, if every poster on here posted "ITS CONSTANTINOPLE AND WE'LL NEVER CALL IT ISTANBUL". Turks hate that
  7. I appreciate the effort, but Financial Fair Play is going to be enforced about as strictly as tax evasion laws in a tax haven. We can spend what we like, and no one will stop us, or anybody else. This is just a smokescreen to cover up the real issue, big teams like Liverpool and Inter are slipping and they are worth too much for football's governing bodies for them to permit that to happen.
  8. Funny because he's at Spurs. If it were anyone else I'd actually feel sorry for AVB. At Tottenham I cheer his every mistake.
  9. We've had quite a few with a sheer force of personality like that. Drogba for instance is more of a man mountain than either Terry or Ballack. It takes quite something to captain a football team, but it pales in comparison to turning up to the Ivory Coast and basically saying "Stop fighting each other, or I'll be cross" to stop a civil war.
  10. I have my doubts on Romeu. I'm not sure if Oscar can play there as well and the less said about a Lampard-Ramires duo in the pivot, the better.
  11. It's a loss for us. We have only 3 reliable midfielders now. And we'll have to soldier on with those 3 for the next 4 months, hoping they don't get suspended or injured.
  12. Why does 'Pards' get so much appreciation?
  13. Yes. As others have said, he may not be a star, but squad players are vital. Guys like Meireles are among the best squad players going around and we have no suitable replacement for him. Lampard Mikel Ramires Lol Lol x2. So that's our centre midfield options. 3 players, an unproven youngster, and Slo Mo Flo Mo.
  14. Ronaldinho didn't do these things when he was 20, he did it at 27-28 when he already made it in Europe and already confirmed himself as one of the best of his time. Neymar has a long way to go in terms of personal mental development. He's still a 12 year old, impulsive, unreliable, erratic.
  15. It would be great if Galatasaray did this when United visit:
  16. I don't care how well he plays, that doesn't affect my opinion of his future. He will end up like Gascoigne or Garrincha, hitting the bottle and ruining his career.
  17. He will fall apart. This guy throws tantrums when he doesn't get his way. He goes out clubbing the night before matches. He once had his manager sacked because he refused to let him take a penalty. No European club will indulge any of that shit, and little Princesses like Neymar won't change their ways no matter who tells them.
  18. Neymar is a twat. Beyond that, he's one of those cases you can almost be sure will fail by the time he's 25. All that hype has gotten to his head. We've seen it happen before with the likes of Freddy Adu, Robinho, etc. Neither Robinho nor Adu were as arrogant as Neymar, nor were they as disrespectful/unprofessional, and they still couldn't hold it together.
  19. Lads theres an easy way around burnout. Ring up Dr. Michele Ferrari and ask him for some EPO.
  20. You're both wrong. Genclerbiligi is bigger than any club from CONSTANTINOPLE.
  21. Is Jose 'Cafu' Bosingwa available? I am certain he will be the best player on the pitch.
  22. If we sign Grella, I will explode! An Aussie at Chelsea?
  23. Just heard a United fan chanting "We hate Nottingham Forest, we hate Liverpool too, and Leeds! We hate Manchester City but United we love you" Why Nottingham Forest?
  24. Yes, he clearly wasn't fond of the "Crouching tiger, hidden wanker" stereotype he had garnered.
  25. I did say that Falcao 'appears' to fit the bill. And the striker doesn't necessarily have to be built like Drogba. They could for example just be great at dribbling and suddenly carve out a 1v1 by themselves by dribbling past a couple of defenders.
