  1. We're getting Lille, and we're going to throw both our games against them but still top the group.
  2. Because he is/was their best player in decades. They were in the Segunda when he played his early seasons, he got them promoted and kept them up virtually single-handedly.
  3. What a coup that would be for the A-League. He'd be by far the best ever player to grace the league, and he'd probably score 30. I was gutted that Christian Vieri never came back to Marconi Stallions, my local club.
  4. I'm quite worried about Torres. It's never easy to play the club you love, let alone when you were captain there and are still regarded as a legend. And he has already shown he has quite a few mental problems with his finishing.
  5. Disappointing start. Balotelli needs to be played more.
  6. I think BluesMaster has gone up nominated 4 or 5 times now and he's still yet to win.
  7. Yep, very fair. He was by far the worlds best striker that season (with apologies to Diego Milito). I wonder if Shanghai would mind if we loaned him every April for the next few seasons, wheeling him out for the late stages of the CL, FA Cup and PL.
  8. Mario Gomez. Anyway, Ronaldo has now scored in 5 successive Clasico's. People should hop off the "he's shit in the big games" bandwagon. Also, this was amazing:
  9. Our rivals are: Tottenham Arsenal Fulham QPR Millwall West Ham Leyton Orient Brentford Leeds May have missed out on a couple of London clubs there but you get the point. We aren't rivals with Man United, Man City or Liverpool. A rivalry takes more than just a decade of close competition for the same prize, otherwise Chelsea-Barcelona would be the second most important fixture for Barcelona after El Clasico.
  10. City What a club. From the 'Welcome to Manchester' sign for Tevez, to the vast amount of madcap striker's they've got (Tevez, Super Mario, Adebayor probably between them are the craziest striking trio to have ever played the game), to cheeky bids for Messi and Berbatov, and now this.
  11. We're hardly rivals with United. I'm sure most of our fans will get on board from the get-go, the rest certainly will if he has a great time here. A player with the skills of Rooney, I'd take him for sure. As for his acting the cunt off and on the pitch, you need look no further than John Terry as the Chelsea equivalent.
  12. I've always wondered why we haven't seen a serious gash on a leg yet up until Rooney. Metal studs are sharp and human skin isn't the most resistive substance in the world.
  13. Come on Lille! Also what we absolutely must avoid is a massive away trip to Ukraine/Russia. It's very difficult to beat those teams in their own backyards.
  14. Yeah, his form really tailed off after Jose left. But its typical of Brazilian elite level footballers, I guess. Once they get into their 30s and have already achieved everything at club level, the fire inside dies.
  15. Why do opposition fans have such a poor opinion of him? http://www.redcafe.net/f7/why-do-chelsea-keep-playing-david-luiz-358392/
  16. Lol, he's Nigerian? Mikel has found himself a new playmate then.
  17. The majority of Chelsea fans also hated Torres before he signed. We'll forget our ill will for Rooney straight away if he signs. Also, what's this about Walcott? Could be a good transfer for Liverpool, he's miles better than Downing.
  18. Don't you people hover over the links first before you click it? Artinho has previous with regards to link-trolling, I don't trust him anymore What's wrong with your avatar?
  19. Lille are going to win, led by their number 8 who'll top score in France this year.
  20. Dalglish and Comolli are gone, so that's the end of stupidly high fees from Liverpool. Also he has a year to run on his contract and reportedly wants stupid money.
  21. I've missed the last week, so I'll guess that Choulo kept up his excellence throughout and vote for him.
  22. 15-20 million is a great deal. I'd take it, personally. All he's shown to us so far is that he had one great year in 2011- at Bolton and with us. That's not enough to justify 20 million, if we can wring that, it would be great. All we have to do is recall Lukaku/make a Pizarro style signing and we're set. Moses can play as a striker as well.
  23. I swear on my family's lives thaf I'm Roman Abramovich. Promises mean nothing. So you admit you do care? That you felt this forum was worth something when you made that thread. Therr you go, you care, so don't act like my prolonged presence on here implies I'm a recluse. You had to turn to,an online forum to be your only source of support, how pathetic is that?
  24. Exactly this. It was the same treatment Kalou got for 6 years, why should Torres, a far shitter player, be given a fair go? Let him inherit scapegoat-in-chief. I remember posts that were disgusted that Kalou scored sgainst Benfica, people were concerned that it would mean a new deal for him.
