Fair point but Kalou's not on that much comparatively. 60,000 a week is more or less average for a player who has a full trophy cabinet to his name. Someone like Galatasaray would pay handsomely.

I think we have to give him 2 or 3 years. That way if he isn't required next summer or the summer after we can get some money for him rather than watch him walk away for free. More importantly, 2-3 years gives me time to head over to London to watch him live at the Bridge.

As I said earlier, he deserves more than a statue. He deserves a monument, a stand of the new Battersea stadium to be named after him. I really do hope he comes back one day as a coach or even as manager.
