Today is big game for him. I know he tried to play it down, but if Chelsea is to challenge for the title this season then we must show our selves here. We must do better then last season when we could not beat them even one game.

Really good post. For me since I was growing up my favorite coach ever was hiddink. It was a really great pleasure and honour to have that man, but Mourinho is something else. I think if he can continue with his passion and enthusiasm for the club then in two decades we will be talking of him with great gratitude as people do with saf and United. I mean is not not like people do now, but if he can sustain glory for decades like saf at our team that will be legendary. The only manager that I can see rivaling him in this present time is klopp. I know a lot of people will say Guardiola but there's something about him that does not get me excited as when I see Mourinho or klopp on the line. Now that saf has retired, the biggest coach name in the world will be Mourinho and klopp for me. And we are lucky at least to have one of them. :-)

What is funny that they thought they would turn all attacking with Carlo, but he came out with this game using a defensive line up. Which to be fair, I'm surprised since when Carlo was at Chelsea we would be all attacking.

Yeah that's true. Which is why I think Mata will not be that great for us. Mata does not suit the counter system and usually has been very bad as of late. Oscar is the perfect mold for that counter system that Mourinho likes to implement.

Well Azpicilueta did not get much chances earlier and the few he has gotten he has impress and improve. This last game against Schalke being the best. Giving how Mourinho is I think and I hope he keeps using Azpi since he has put a good shift. He earned it. I say KDB will have to do the same in the coming weeks.

The dude was really great. Hopefully Mourinho keeps playing him because he has done a better job then Cole this whole season so far as a LB. I know Azpi is not a LB, but if he can adjust to that role then we solve our LB issue as Cole has been woeful this season and Ryan doing so so.

Really a great coach to bounce after the horror that was against Basel. Now we are first place and that's great credit to the manager and the team. If there is one thing I would like Mourinho to do in the coming games is give more chances to KDB. He gave chance to Azpilicueta and he was good. So I hope he keeps giving chances to players. And if they perform good he keeps picking them. Azpi performance today would merit more chances in the coming weeks me thinks.

I'm not sure about you guys, but I have enjoyed some of the things SAF has been saying in his autobiography. I really miss the guy. Was a great manager and made the game more fun to watch with him.

Think Oscar week by week is showing why he is the better option then Mata in building the team around him. If Mata can take being second choice to Oscar then he can stay. Otherwise he will be a goner by next season.

I have liked the gamble that Mourinho puts when losing a game. However that tactic of only leaving 3 at the back will take us so far. Eventually a good team will make us pay badly. What we need to do is start playing good from the beginning and then try to shut down the game with a possession game/or counter attacking.

I have to say that's fine and all, but what if the dude does not want to sign a new contract? He does have a short time left, so he can run down his contract and then we will be force to sell him like we did with Sturridge. Unless he comes and be our number one keeper next season he is a goner.

Yeah as you said it's a cultural thing that has to do a lot with education, culture and class. Similar to USA, where you have the banter in the stadium but tends to be respectful. Not like in Spain where it tends to get way out of hand or Italy. Another one is Germany. I think in Germany is one of the most respectful culture I seen for a big country.
