  1. Aliens and illuminati to take over! ?
  2. We have the luxury of losing 3 games now and still be ahead. Good stuff, let's hope we win tomorrow.
  3. I don't think anyone said to replace him with simeone or pellegrini. Nor sack as well. I think most was saying if we continue like this next season then that should be a time to consider it.
  4. Yes! Now tomorrow for a day of greatness.
  5. Well if this results hold it will make my weekend after the bad week we suffer. And hopefully tomorrow we win and United lose to round up a perfect end to the week. ?
  6. Supporter your the best! I do think at times your over passionate with Mourinho, but still good nonetheless. And also very respectful in all your post! Regards. ?
  7. I agree every point except third. Why because even before you mention the two goals I was already pissed in the second half when it was 0 to 0. So it was not the goals that came out of corners, but how we approach the game with one more man. You can see my post even before we got eliminated, I was saying that this a total shame and we deserve to lose for this. When David Luiz scored I was just saying, "this is what you get for being so stupid and sitting back against 10 men" Then extra time we scored and it was the same, we sit back and after the Tiago goal I was not even mad. I wasn't even mad! I was just dumbfounded how our team can continue to do the same thing all season? Score one goal and just relax and decide to sit back.... Seriously you must have seen this before? Its not just this game. But okay whatever, it was this season because there's still a new team that needs to get winning mentality... Yet I will tell you if next season we are still doing the same shenanigans of scoring one goal and then just going into shell mode, I'm going to be kicking my TV!
  8. Do you think buying a new cb might help as well? Don't have to speak about cahill no more, but zouma is very promising. But because Terry is old I think another cb might be useful. Other then that your spot on, it's just amazing the amount of times we conceded after being one goal up. We try to park the bus and sit back but that's killing us in many games.
  9. Those all true points but that's completely different then what you mentioned of Chelsea being a El team a couple of seasons back. Despite buying some extra players the team pellegrini and Mourinho walked into was already good. But if you want to continue talking about walking into already made teams and how easy is the work for the new manager, then tell me this. How come this manager can do better then the other? Your telling me that if mancini had stayed one more year they would have been playing that good? As to oppose pellegrini taking the same players and doing much better? Or like at real Madrid, you think Mourinho staying one more year would have made them much better or achieve what carlo did? Since things like this can go both ways, it's very hard to come to a point as there's case for and against it. No matter what you said there's always something that someone else can bring to give a different out look. This is why for me I never bother discussing that because it's an endless conversation.
  10. Are you saying all those was Chelsea buy from Mourinho? I think you need to look clear at some names that was here and came before. Not to mention that Chelsea finish second that season and made it far in the CL.... That's totally different then what you mention Chelsea was in EL a couple of seasons back. Inter was already winning tittles, similar to City of Mancini. Maicon, Zanetti...especially Zanetti the heart and soul of the team, Cambiasso and such. Just like you said Pellegrini had it easy because he came to a good team instead of a team that was in EL struggling. Except for Porto and second time Chelsea, every team that Mourinho has come has the foundations laid there. To me this is the same point that you are mentioning about Pellegrini coming to a team already good and didn't have to do much....,
  11. Yes at Chelsea there was a foundation laid there by Raniere, so at Inter by Mancini, and Real Madrid by Pellegrini. While they have an element of truth I never really cared about such views. Nor do I care about the same thing you mention about City with Pelle and Mourinho with Chelsea.
  12. Because that "counter argument" funnily enough is the same one people often use for hating on Mourinho bashing down his previous work from other teams.....Like that he got to a team ready build by someone else and yadi yadi ya. Those are the haters that have always used those arguments against him. I never really cared much for such scenario even though they have an element of truth.
  13. I wouldn't say bad, but I woudln't say excellent. We made a positive net spend, but we sold a lot of younger players for older players with less resale value. Felipe, Cuadrado, Willian... While also made some great buys in Matic, Fabregas, Costa. So it's not an extreme to bad or good. If I had to give a scorecard I would say B+
  14. Pellegrini did the same last season. Nothing special about pellegrini either imo.
  15. True point which is why it would make it worse that instead of improving next season we regress. So we shall see if we are having the same issue that we have had many times this season. Either we can't kill the game or hold out. We used to be good at parking the bus and now we can't even do that well. Smh
  16. At least he was right about Mourinho. Because I also seen nothing special in these two seasons. And the team played like most people thought. Like from the moment Ramires got the yellow card I was like take him out because he was going to do something reckless. Ramires knew this and you saw how he lower his play. He was a passenger all of second. But mourinho decide to change Matic over zouma first.... I was like come on men go for the kill! Mourinho over and over continues to show his conservative approach for such games, instead of being more killer.
  17. Like I said pellegrini did the same exact thing Mourinho is about to do this season while playing good fútbol. So there's nothing of greatness so far. Now this season city have not improve and pellegrini is talked about being sack. It will be the same for mourinho if next season instead of improving we have regress, it will be the same.
  18. I think we all agree with this but also said that this guy gave everything in big important games for us. He was like Drogba fired up for big occasion and that is one thing most of us said we would miss from him. And yes I missed that when I saw him acting like that instead of a Fabregas walking the pitch after the first half....
  19. Yeah but people forget about that. We would have been clapping like madmen and call him legend if he had done that for our team yesterday. So that's why I can't really hate the guy. He has heart something Fabregas don't. I prefer jerks then nice guys in this sport.
  20. Even thought there's some thing I don't agree with Mourinho I thought and still think that the sell was the right thing at that time. However I would think that our club would be smart enough to include a buy back or even a first buyer refusal clause in there. Now that was sheer stupidity from the club as a whole! Sturridge and no buy back clause on KDB has been the two biggest stupid mistakes of the club in a long time.
  21. Stability for me is between 3 to 5 years. You can accomplish a lot in that time. What I don't agree is to have Mourinho as our saf. I think that saf was an anomaly and should not be used as measuring tool. I would prefer to look at the time frame that pep did for his team. 5 years is good enough. Mourinho has done two and have not been two years of greatness. Two years that someone like pellegrini has done with similar resources if you can call it that... But mourinho will get his third year, and who knows maybe 4th. But I have not see nothing of greatness that merits unlimited amount of years. Unless we are going the Arsenal way and be satisfied with a certain standard...
  22. The thing is that even before the goal came we was inviting the pressure with one more man. Ramires who didn't do so much of anything continue to stay in the team till the end of the second..... Why change Matic for zouma? Your one goal up with one less men, go for the kill! It's just not today but many many times that we have seen that. We score one goal and we retract. It's cost us every single time. So has he not seen this issue? In this respect I agree when people get mad at Mourinho for his cautious approach.
  23. Well I hope carlo is still interested and buys him... If he has not been sacked this summer.
  24. If we can sell Oscar and Ramires and get better replacement then that should be good. Pogba I think is a no go. His price is just ridiculous, unless juventus want Oscar then maybe we can do something. Koke would be awesome but I don't think he wants to come. Didn't he signed a new contract? So those two options are hard. It might just be another minimal upgrade like with Cuadradro....
  25. Yes you make a great point but something about it doesn't sit right. It seems weird that we should compare such budgets with that of a lowly Dortmund, even if your talking about net spend. Because we spend a lot of money on young talent. Like I said you have a good point but something just doesn't sit right....
