  1. I would take him. Buy them like they did Sturridge from us.
  2. "He's not a player who takes the ball and starts dribbling, and likes to have the opponent in front of him. De Bruyne's super when he has the space on the counter attack, but at Bayern you usually only have three, four metres -- no huge spaces. But he is a good player, and he is still young. He can still learn." Interesting comment from Ribery on KDB.
  3. No to me the problem with CIty was the sponsorship deal that UEFA deem good. Now there was a report that they wanted to improve their deal for more money. If UEFA continues to let them with such deal then they will be okay in the long run. Because FFP is all about revenues and clubs are increasing their revenues. The Etihad deal is eventually a deal with themselves but UEFA does not see it like that....
  4. I think Real Madrid has done the same for the last two season. That even though they spend a lot it's less because net spend ain't as much since they sold players as well. But people don't attribute it to Carlo but Florentino and his board....
  5. I have not been able to catch up on the facts, can someone please enlighten me? Was this a terrorist thing? Is it true that he turn Muslim and then did this?
  6. No you are right. I guess I was blindsided by Dortmund and how not so great their players came out after they join another foreign team. Well that being said just read this about KDB on ESPN: Wolfsburg's Kevin De Bruyne open to Chelsea return - sources
  7. Yes but they stayed in Bundesliga. Has anyone that left Bundesliga to Spain or England done that well recently?
  8. Yeah we should see how he does in a big club as well. Because as of late top performers in Germany besides Bayern tend to do bad outside. I mean wasn't every player that left Dortmund a total flop? So in that sense I agree, is best to wait and see how he handles in a bigger club with different demands and style.
  9. True, can't fault the guy for such opinion. As I said the same thing of City last season when they won the PL very unconvincing. We improve from last year champion but we still won with some unconvincing performances. Maybe next season we can be a more convincing side by making some key transfer. But if we do more buys like Cuadrado and Willian then I'm not sure.
  10. Was you. Carling Cup and EL are trophies that are of low standard for a team like Chelsea. But winning it is still good enough for me.
  11. That and winning the el. It was about as nice as winning the carling cup this season and seeing Mourinho celebrate like crazy. While both competitions are of low level for a club like Chelsea, it was still nice to see.
  12. It was terrible but it's not how you start but how you finish. After the season was over it no longer was bad. We ended on a decent note. We was improving our play finish top 4 and won a trophy. So that was good for me. Benitez ain't the best thing since slice bread but he sure wasn't the worst.
  13. Hey its a title that to most people is the third most valuable after cl and league. Of course Chelsea don't want to be playing that, but still good enough cup.
  14. Still it was something won then nothing like last season.
  15. True but that's how it's done today. Comparing the amount of games and points won, like people was doing with van Gaal and moyes.
  16. But I doubt we will go for bale having Cuadradro and Willian. One of those will have to go. I hope it's Willian. Cuadradro while I don't like the buy needs at least next season to prove what he got. Willian already had enough of him.
  17. Yeah he did pretty decent with us giving the squad. Mourinho also finished in third with almost the same squad.
  18. I heard that City wanted the Besiktas coach....
  19. True point. Noticed how he also pushed for goal line technology and now we have it. Next is video technology help for refs. That's what he's been talking as of late.
  20. Well you said it, all depends what we do this transfer window. If we do more buys like Willian and Cuadradro then expect to have the same outcome. But if like Costa and Fabregas then good.
  21. Good points but we will find out next season. I made a point how this season feels exactly like City last season. They won the Capital One and PL but with a very unconvincing display. Then this season instead of improving they regress. So it will be a wait and see mode for next season. Do we improve or regress?
  22. Well he's jus making those comments just to downplay any fail chances he gives to RLC next season. Like I said, all talk and no show this men when it comes to youth.

  24. Mariner: Chelsea have been hard done by refs
  25. Nothing new, heard the same thing about other younger players. All talk and no show.
