I don't know about you guys, but I think Fabregas is much better then Mata. Fabregas is everything Mata never was for Mourinho. The flexibility he offers to play in different roles and his vision of passing is sublime. Mourinho is really a genius for getting rid of Mata at such a high price and get someone better for lesser price.

Actually FFP does not counts the youth academy expenditure. It's like a tax write off.

I actually think if Mourinho stays for some time at the club we would make a lot of money in the long run. Cause think about that one example at Real Madrid with Varane. How Mourinho was very influential in the growth of Varane in the years he was there? Say Mourinho has a positive impact in Zouma, Ake and such just by playing them here and there it will increase their value. Look at how people though highly of Kalas after "only" that game against Liverpool. So if this is something the board and Mourinho is on about, the profits will increase by implementing such role that Mourinho has talked about. Bringing two youths into the team every season. If so one happens to be outstandingly amazing then one of our seniors we will keep them. But this bringing of the youth into the team will increase the awareness and value of these youngsters. Destroying their careers? Hardly, we actually letting them use us as a platform to launch their careers forward if they don't stay at the club.

You can't ask for a Chelsea fan to give respect to a player who isn't his. Okay some might will, but on average most people will not care because he isn't ours. If Lukaku had stayed, I bet you everything would have been forgotten and people love the guy. Look at how Fabregas was hated here by many. Now that he's with us we support him. This is why I said it must be a Belgium thing defending him. But I guess I was wrong. It's just YOU!

Let's not forget his douche bag attitude towards his Belgium manager after he sub him. Despicable attitude!

Torres is not leaving. Hes part of the silverware now. So I see Romeu going on loan and with a possibility of either Mikel or Cech being sold.

I think is best if schurrle stays as a winger cause he give us width. So this would be a very good move if it happens. Even if we don't get rid of Torres I won't care. Having two top striker with a super sub in DD would be awesome.

To be fair, I'm not even worried about Torres anymore. With Costa if he gets injured we can play Schurrle or heck Fabregas as false 9. Might be true this time, that this is what we stay.

We have Goal line technology. And yes this is good. It's efficient and get rid of all the shenanigans that happens with players skipping the line and such.

Mata was a good player, well he still is and we miss him. But now we got Fabregas so it's all good Lukaku I always felt he was the new Heskey. So 25 million for the new Heskey is a good business from our club.

When Mourinho came back he praise the board for the work they had done. ie KDB, Lukaku, Courtois and such. Later he was also saying how he was working well with Emanolo. So it as you said, Emanolo who many hated at the beginning for his past started doing a good job and with Mourinho it's only gotten better. This just show that having good and competent people as our staff is very vital. Not just one person in Mourinho, but in other levels of structures working together as a unit.

I think that was the turning point of our club. While Torres being the worst transfer in the history of this club it also push us to change our approach to transfer dealing. So if that was the "cost" of Torres, then I say it was well worth it for how our club has changed since then.
