Good read thanks for the link. Yeah before Mourinho came I wanted a manager that can bring talent and able to work good with a moderate budget. Of course we are a rich club and we will spend big, but not always. We can't spend big every transfer window and that's where bringing in some youth would help. This why before Klopp and Conte where my favorite choices before. We missed out on Klopp....but even if we was for the running I think we wouldn't have won that one. Because Klopp was big on going to Liverpool. He often talked about the atmosphere like being as Dortmund and that was his pull. I knew Klopp was going to be bad this season but I thorough expect him to be much better next season. In similar fashion it would be for Conte. I don't expect to win the tittle next season, we will be the "little horse" but after one season he should also take a better grasp of everything. As things stands, this leagues keeps getting interesting and more interesting. Before I wanted Pep and Mourinho in the league. Then when i saw Klopp and Conte with Dortmund and Juventus I was like men they would be awesome. Now we will have Pep, Mourinho, Klopp, Conte, Pochetino, and Wenger. Then you got other mangers with not big pedigree but doing good like Koeman, Florez, Raniere.... Men what an amazing hard league this is about to get. Now if only my crazy fool of Bielsa would come to manage a team like Swansea or heck even Sampoli. Bring more and more top coaches to make this league even harder and harder!

Because it's good to keep him around like it was when we had Ray Wilkins.
-
Think Fabregas will be the Pirlo for Conte. Obviously not as good as Pirlo, but good enough to do some sort of damage. Just need better CM to give him more cover. And no I don't like Fabregas up in advance role. I like it when he retreats to get the ball and start play from there.
-
I definitely want the guy to stay but if he is set on moving then in the summer sell to highest bidder. Selling Hazard will give us another "Positive Net Spend" I know you guys are big on that....
-
I think Juventus wanted this guy. Wonder if Conte will rate him.
-
With Conte I have some sort of hope with our young players since he gave chances to Pogba. Now world class talent.
-
So what's your thought on this? Does the man has any chance? False hope for us? Back to the relegation zone? Top 4? Title contenders?
-
I still think Hiddink should have stayed one more season. Plus Conte won't be available now since he will be in the euro. This will not start good me thinks since Conte won't have time this summer with the team.
-
Actually you are right, I made a mistake. I confused it with the "it's easy to defend" mocking comment. Sorry about that.
-
I still believe our objectives has changed. I think the board would have been content with a top 4 finish this season with Mourinho. Something Mourinho said it was easy to do and mock Wenger for that. But after it was all lost and in danger of relegation after losing the dressing room there was no choice. Terry knew it, he even said it's much easier to sack the manager then the whole squad.

I remember him wanting Piazon as well back then. I wonder how he would have turned out if he had gone there.

If you look at transfermarket you can see for the past few years we always spend good: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/chelsea-fc/transfers/verein/631/plus/0?saison_id=2010&pos=&detailpos=&w_s= Select the season and see all the ins and out.

Has to win something, like an FA Cup or Captial One Cup? Do you seriously need a lot of money to win that? Have Leicester spend big? Tottenham spend big? And they are not gunning for an FA cup mind you. Sorry my friend the problem is you have a manager that if we don't spend he falls apart. We need to have a balance my friend. We can't be spending big every season. You also have to learn how to implement youth.
-
Are you basing this because we sack Mourinho? Must I point to you that we didn't want to sack Mourinho. We had no choice but to let him go because of the position we was and he lost the dressing room. As long as any new manager don't have a worse season then what Mourinho showed us this season then he will be good. We will go the Wenger approach, as long as we finish top 4 we are good.

I still remember the game against Conte Juventus in the season after winning the CL. That was an amazing performance from that Juventus team. If we can play like that I would be so happy.

Well I guess it seems like it is Conte as many places now reporting it: Italy's Antonio Conte in talks to take Chelsea job after Euro 2016 - reports http://espnfc.com/chelsea/story/2814154/italy-boss-antonio-conte-in-talks-over-chelsea-job-reports

You know I have to say, I liked what I saw from Allegri. His personality, his way of changing the game. Definetly a bright character as to opposed the miserable Mourinho, Conte type of look. Allegri character looks like it inject passion and enthusiasm, the others just look jaded and boring.
-
Yeah the juventus game is good. Allegri did great subs in the second half.
-
Messi finally scores against Cech.
-
Kinda looks like Pogba. Well let's hope he can get more chances with Chelsea next season otherwise he's a goner.

Chelsea must consider option of extending Guus Hiddink http://www.espnfc.us/club/chelsea/363/blog/post/2813500/chelsea-must-consider-guus-hiddink-as-option-for-next-season

Sounds like Mourinho, players get tired of him after 3 years.

Will the Board get it right this summer?

Well if we got Pedro, Willian and hopefully if Hazard stay then we are set for our AM. With Oscar coming in and out....because this has been a balance that has been bothering us for a while. So at least we fix that. A striker we got Costa so we ain't getting a top striker to sit on the bench. Don't know what to get here to be honest....I would be happy with Chicharito here. GK we had no choice to sell Cech and to get Begovic was a good deal. So can't complain about that. LB we had Luiz, we sold him. Now that Baba is doing good I doubt we should get another LB if we keep up with him in that position. After that the only two positions that are must is CB and CM. Regardless of the "awful window" it shouldn't have been the reason for the disaster we had. The awfulness was made even worse because of Mourinho losing the dressing room. Next season if we got a manager that is not a diva, treats players good and creates a good atmosphere then we should be good. -
6) Hector a real talent, whether or not Chelsea realize it Outstanding during a Reading win over West Brom that was overshadowed by the throwing of a coin at Chris Brunt after the game, Michael Hector could be forgiven for being irritated his outstanding contribution to the Championship side’s success was overlooked because of some numpty with 50p too much in his pocket and some serious issues. Signed by Chelsea last September and immediately loaned back to Reading, the languid centre-half has been rewired as a central midfielder since his big break. As one of 33 players on loan from the Premier League club, whether he will ever feature in the champions’ first team remains to be seen. “I spoke to Michael about playing that role and said to him if you can develop another string to your bow and play in that holding midfield role, he can play in the position for Chelsea,” said the Reading manager, Brian McDermott, of Hector’s excellent performance in the centre of the field. “I spoke to Chelsea about Michael playing in that role and they were happy for him to do that. He can play centre-half, he can play holding midfielder and I thought he was terrific today. He’s been on loan everywhere … a lot of places. He hadn’t been playing in the team, but we changed the system and he’s been terrific in training.” Hector has been on loan at Bracknell Town, Didcot Town, Havant & Waterlooville, Oxford City, Horsham, Dundalk, Barnet, Shrewsbury Town, Aldershot Town, Cheltenham Town, Aberdeen, Reading. That’s 12 clubs. He is 23. Barry Glendenning http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2016/feb/22/fa-cup-talking-points-fifth-round
