Yeah he was a goal score machine a la Lukaku. But didn't offer much after that. As he left, Bayern became much better team all around. And this is the modern style of play currently in force. The all around striker.

We know he is going to score a lot of goals though. But must of us didn't want him because his link up play and what he offers when not with the ball is very poor. I don't know if it's tomo that made this point but at Bayern they had a goal machine in a striker I forgot his name but he didn't offer much after that. That it was when they shift him of and made way to the strikers they used now was when Bayern when up a level. Their new striker could scored, link up and as well be useful when not with the ball. This is what morata will be for us. Thus much better in the balance of the team.
