This, I said it many times. To do 3 years is a really good thing. I feel like the perfect time frame for today's game is between 3 to 5 years. Most managers start to stagnate after that. Take a look at Simeone. I would like him to do more then 3 years. 5 years would be fine for me, but let's see what happens.

We have had a couple of players in the past doing bad first season. He is still young, merits another season. If by next season he is still crap then we can conclude that is a waste of money. Until then I will give him a break. This season is lost anyways.

He still should finish next year. It was a crap year, always was going to be, but he should finish next year. I believe he can do much better next season. And some players this season will be much better next. After that he can do whatever he wants. But 3 years is good business for me.
