I hope we don't get a Pato type of deal like the board did two seasons ago.

July 19th here! Now there's more people in the forum talking crap about the board then me. I'm still disappointing, but I acknowledge that getting Rudgier and Bakayoko are great business. The whole striker situation was all Conte fault. We are a in a tough position because of him. So we will see what we can do, otherwise he is going to have to wing it with Bats.....unless we get a Pato type of striker at the end, like they did to us two seasons ago.....

To be fair I'm surprised he's still here. If he stays here I see we will do good in the PL. I doubt we will have a season like that of two ago.

I agree wholly. You guys don't realize that Abumeyang will have great understanding and partnership with Hazard. That is something most of us been wanting for ages. Apart from Aguero, only Abumeyand comes closely to that style of striker...and Sanchez but he is no striker. We need to change our style from the "target man".

I still think we need to continue prioritizing defense. Get Danilo, Sandro whoever. We had no problem last season in attack and we can go false 9 if need be... of course I want a new striker. But defense has been woeful.

If we don't get him then we are just getting llorente and that's that. Our board are not able to close top expensive targets. We will just go with llorente and bats.....

Because if they don't sell now they will sell him for a premium in January. Otherwise next summer go for free. More then likely they will cave in January.

To be fair if I had to choose between lukaku and this guy for that price I would take PEA. To me PEA is a step up to what we wanted a long time. A striker that can link well with hazard. I want change from the target man at least for a while. If we want target man lets get llorente so he can be a super sub which are needed by the way.....

We could swoop for cavani. But I think if we don't buy them we might just buy llorente and stick with bats. Bats and llorente...

Well if they don't sell either Sánchez or ox now they will be forced to sell for a premium this January.

Why can't we have both? But if only one I would take ox because he is English and can do a job in the wings ala Moses.

The article says that they want 30 million for him. For 30 million I think we should take a look.
