We played against a team in great form. They rested some of their players, but so did we. We were very tired both physically and mentally, so I am quite impressed considering the early goal we conceded. As throughout the season there were moments of brilliance and moments of absolute incompetence. 
 
And once again you can NOT underestimate the impact injuries have on our team. Doesn’t matter whose fault it is, they are killing us.
I don’t see an alternative to Poch at least until the end of the season. Let’s keep supporting the lads and get into every game with the hope of winning. That is what Chelsea is about.

I think Romagnoli can be had for £75m to £80m max, as long as he wishes to come. He only has 2 years left on his contract after this season. If he does say no and/or renews, we can grab Konate for the same price or near it. I rate both above Dias, who is not Big 5 league proven. Do not get me wrong, I do rate Dias, just not at the level of those we have already mentioned. 
The only other remotely available one I rate above Dias is Marquinhos.
Varane is not available more than likely,  nor is José Giménez (120m new release clause). Obviously not available are van Dijk, Laporte, Lucas Hernadez. Sule and de Ligt, and Lenglet.
So, assuming Skriniar is snapped up by Shitty, there literally are only 4 (maybe only 3) real targets in my book

REALLY want Romagnoli or Konate (tbh both, but we are not going to sell 2 of the 4 main CB's we have now, unless Rudiger is looking like he is now fucked for good health-wise, and if he is, we will get shit for him anyway.)
I would sell AC and Zouma and buy them both,  but zero chance of that happening I fear. We certainly will have the cash to do, especially if we get super lucky and do pull Werner for only 25m, and say miss out on Chillwell, and instead grab Malang Sarr for around £35m, and do NOT buy Sancho, and only spend half of his 120m or so on a winger.

And brings gross cost back down to only £280m or so (£240m if you swap Romagnoli or Konate for an Áke buy, and only £200m TOTAL if you keep Zouma and only buy one of either Romagnoli or Konate) if we drop only only £200m, and simply clean out the loan dregs, and Barkley, etc etc, that means we made well over £300m net PROFIT at the end of the day in transfers counting Kovacic and Pulisic buys, and subtracting the outlays from all the sales of late and the ones to soon come.
 

Was in some good offensive positions today. That second CM aside Kante will have to make offensive impact. Kova, Jorginho and RLC will play there. I think against weaker opposition Ruben is perfect for that role with Barkley /Mount upfront. 

Officially fucked now with our best cb out. Must buy at least 2 now as Rüdiger is hardly gonna come back swiftly afzer taht injury . It is the same injury that wrecked Torres career

I rate him much higher than Emerson, who has shown me not much at all since he has came. Chilwell and Ricardo Pereira have been tear teams apart as a fullback duo lately, including us. Plus he is homegrown. 
 
here are my thoughts on RB targets
 

I would rather players get played on merit rather than a clause. Up to him to step up his game but worrying that again in their cup game a couple weeks ago, he was left out the squad totally and again on the weekend an unused sub.

Said it before, never had a bad game in my memory but for some reason when he did play our goals came from that side, again I can't remember Bertrand making a mistake persay.
There's alot more we do not see, we see match performances and very very very limited training footage for obvious reasons.
I feel sorry for him but if he's not being put into the team then there has to be a reason that is football or personal related that the staff do not like.
I'd love it if he came back in the summer and was given a fair crack because it LOOKS like he could give us something with hazard but it's down to Jose and preferring Dave for defensive structure and Luis for attacking structure.
Another thing to bare in mind is that lukaku syndrome, one thing to play for Southampton, another for Chelsea.

That performance has been coming for a while now. We just needed a team with a "stupid" manager to allow us to execute it. And, "Lo and Behold", along comes the Arse with their manager Arse(ne) and we gave him a 1000 game present he will never forget. He never learned from his other hammerings this season. He allowed us to press high up the pitch, and then when we won the ball they allowed us to stroll through their defence as if it was a non contact sport. Their midfield is powder puff,. I never saw one decent crunching tackle from them all day. They were a disgrace to their fans. If Chelsea ever capitulate as easy as Arsenal did today I will walk away from football and watch cricket instead.
Have to say, I'm really loving this season.............Way above my expectations. Well done guys no matter what happens from here on in

First off i'm not even comparing Mikel and Ramires, i just saw Leif's post which completely ignored Ramires' flaws.
Ramires is not a good passer* And while he gets an average 3 tackles a game he commits many fouls in the process - 53 in 35 games PL games, 21 in 8 EL games. Just the past 2 games alone, he's committed like 12 fouls
* Mikel has a ridiculously high passing percentage, but a lot of times he passes sideways. Same applies with Ramires, when he tries a harder pass, he almost always fails.

I never knew what realy happend to Diego. He was brilliant for Werder, then made dream Juve move and had great season and later he was sold...juve had Diego, Krasic and Elia careers destroyed basicaly. All were promising players and then went missing. Diego had highest ceiling of them all...We will have to be very careful with Oscar, Chalobah, Kdb and Lukaku's development if we want them to suceed.

With the injury to Romeu I would like to see kdb recalled and actually given a chance... I don't want to see him recalled to sit on the bench but atm we have 3 players for 2 positions which isn't exactly a deep squad. Unless of course we buy another cm/dm in Jan.

If Luiz is going to be turned into a DM/CM than we still possibly need 2 signings (apart from CF). We would have to buy a CB: We probably won't go for the likes of Hummels or Subotic in January, so I guess Okore would have to do.
In January we should recall Essien. If we don't we would still need to buy a DM as even with Luiz there now, we're still only back where we started since Romeu is gone.

I think a young, relatively cheap CB in the summer would be perfect. Jores Okore would be a good option in my opinion, he's a talented young defender with maturity beyond his years. He's a fan of Chelsea, he has the potential to be a leader in the future and he should be able available for around 5-7 million.

They might be financially weak but from what i've heard from Milan supporters/followers, they want to build the new team around El Shaarawy & Mattia De Sciglio (young promising defender).
I don't see them selling unless someone pays over the top money...like 35-40 million.

My Opinion: Exactly my point KDB is also a much rare type of player to find than the likes of Mata. Only problem is KDB = rare talent on loan. Lol.
