Im with the guy above me. International football here is crap. No one follows it. For me growing up, the only international sport to watch was rugby, cricket or sailing. Don't get me wrong, would love for the national team to win the world cup, i'd be exstatic, but I could never replicate the feeling of Chelsea winning the champions league.

I cant imagine a club rivalry to be outside of the same country. Us and Barca rivalry isn't anything more than Milan and Barca. Having a controversial match does not automatically make a BIG rivalry. It'll always be an interesting game with alot of viewers, heck it even crashed twitter, but its not a big rivalry (yet)

Should be like the NHL imo. Salary cap for teams should be set at around 70-100mill (maybe more due to the size of the teams) per season per team, depending on what the leagues revenue is. That would change the game something chronic though.

Haha, thanks. Cant get enough of good old community. Was in Belfast last november btw, won a trip to the EMAs. Loved the city! (EMAs, not so much) They'll have some sort of financial plan that says something like, alright we're are gonna pump x amount of money into developing the ground, and we won't our money back within x amount of years. Battersea probably just didn't fit within their business strategy. Also the owners and community around the site would of had some sort of say of who they wanted to take over the sight. It was either a pretty mall or someshit or a football stadium. I think the (non footballing) community around the site would rather have a mall than a stadium.
