The saga surrounding Javi Martinez has taken yet another twist, as Athletic have now released a statement saying Javi Martinez travelled to Munich without the club's permission and the transfer is still far from being completed. That was probably the reason why he underwent the medical in middle of the night.

Pinto da Costa has now revealed that Porto have rejected that €50m offer from Zenit.

Haven't you guys learned anything from yesterday, when that other 'agent' guy confessed to being a fake and laughed his ass off because some people actually believed him? This agent153 and everyone else claiming to have inside information on these high profile transfers are just the same. Last week that same guy was saying that we had a done deal for Cavani after we outbid Man City. I used to follow these accounts just for the lulz, but it's getting rather boring now.

Lille would be nice, if they can first qualify. Hazard would face his old club and we would get to see Kalou again.

Moses is number 13.

He signed a contract in 2008 which would have kept him at the club until 2013. In that same year he suffered a knee injury that kept him out of the game for over 6 months and that wasn't even the first one of those in his career. After recovering from that, he went on to play well for the remainder of the season and even started the next one with some great performances but the fear of a new serious injury was always there. The fears soon became a reality when he missed the second half of the 09/10 season due to a knee injury he sustained at the 2010 African Cup of Nations and at the time there were predictions that he would never be the same again. Despite all that, the club offered him an extension in June 2010 even though he still had three years left of his previous contract and there would have been more than enough time to see whether he makes a full recovery or not before offering him that new contract. His performances were not the same since that but he was still a useful player then. After another six months on the sidelines last season did some further damage and now he's been shit for a while now. As much as I like Essien, giving a 5 year deal to a player with only one knee was probably one of the biggest mistakes the board have made over the years.

If it's for the good of the team, then they should be willing or they can all fuck off for all I care. Even if Torres is now finally looking like he's starting to deliver, we are still very much light in that department when compared to our rivals and one injury can truly mess up our whole season. Teams with only one quality player per position never win a thing. Maybe the player himself will score buckets of goals and enjoy the personal glory, but if they care about what's best for the team, they will have to realize that sitting on the bench every now and again is all part of the game. For example, I don't see Rooney complaining about Van Persie's arrival to United even though it limits his own playing time and means he will have less goals to his name. In fact he was ecstatic to have such a quality player join his team. I don't know about you guys, but if Sturridge or anyone else for that matter is more interested in that personal glory and gets off on seeing his name on the scoresheet despite his team losing the game, then they can all leave the club in my opinion and we should get a player with a better attitude as replacement. All that bullshit about Torres losing his confidence again if another quality player is bought to compete with him is pure nonsense. Maybe that worked out well for him at Liverpool on a personal level but like I said, a club like that never wins anything and we've clearly seen that over the years. If he can't handle the competition, then his place is simply not at a club aiming to compete for the title.

Everything going according to plan then. Now all we need is Agent AVB getting Tottenham relegated.

2015. I wonder who's idea it was to offer a contract that long to a player who already had a bad history with knee injuries...
-
Again you continue with this bullshit. What would you rather have: play attractive football most of the time and take a sensible approach against the very best clubs on earth to improve our chances, or play attractive football every time and win fuck all? I know which one I would choose.

What exactly does that 'partnership agreement' mean? That Spurs will continue selling their best players to Real Madrid for much cheaper than what they would get from other top clubs?
-
Liverpool's young starlet Raheem Sterling is a father of two at the age of 17. Does being a dad make him more mature than someone else?
-
Stupid Rodgers insists on playing him on the wing and down the middle he plays Suarez, who is overrated as fuck and one of the worst finishers in the league. That's not very smart imo.

It seems that BluesMaster has a secret crush on César. Don't worry mate, we're not judging you here.

Tottenham and Arsenal have now both dropped points in their first two matches, what a nice start to the season. Don't know what to hope for in the next match. City losing would probably be the best for us but I can't stand Liverpool either. Fuck, why can't they just both lose the game?
-
Got it from Twitter, no idea if it's true.
-
Has he been called up for the internationals? Hope not, because that would be the perfect opportunity for him to get a couple weeks rest and after the break we have a couple 'easy' games where Juan might not even be needed.
-
Those stats from yesterday are very, very impressive. Dembele sure has improved over the last two seasons after starting to play at CM. Can't see him leaving Fulham in this transfer window. Maybe we could go for him next year or in January, if we need him or if there's too big a risk of someone else snapping him up.

"Eden Hazard is the first player ever in the history of the Premier League to win three man of the match awards in the first three games." He better watch out not to drink too much of that champagne! At the moment he seems to be getting at least one new bottle every week.
