Sturridge has a better goals / game ratio in a Chelsea shirt than Torres. So far Danny has 23 goals in 88 appereances and Torres is at 18 goals in 80 games and also it has to be said that Sturridge has definitely played less minutes in those games because he has mainly been used as a substitute. If Danny is considered not proven, then what does that make Torres? Past glories mean nothing if you're shit for two years straight.

How about last weekend?

Couldn't watch the game but seems it was a very tough match, as I expected. A loss definitely made things harder but it's not the end of the world because Juventus also managed to fuck things up with Nordsjaelland so at the moment it's all good. All we have to do is beat Shakhtar at the Bridge and get a point at Juventus away.

Underestimate Shakhtar much? No doubt the second toughest match in the group after Juventus away and they're not to be taken lightly. Obviously some players should be rested because after this game we face United twice within a week but you're taking it way too far with that lineup. Cech Azpilicueta - Cahill - Terry - Cole Mikel - Lampard Mata - Oscar - Hazard Sturridge That would be my starting eleven. Mata and Hazard off early if the game is over and they're not needed anymore so they could rest as much as possible before United and also Moses and / or Marin could get some minutes.

I'm worried about this game and I would most likely take a draw if it was offered now in advance... Hope I'm wrong and we'lll get the full three points. :blue scalf:

Of course but then we'd have to pay something to Bremen for breaking the contract. i dont't know the amount but there was talk about the contract details when he signed for Bremen. A recall is not likely at the moment and I think it's best he stays there for thw whole season and plays every game rather than sit on the bench at Chelsea. Hard not to get excited about the future when we already have players like Hazard, Oscar, Mata in the team and then a gem like De Bruyne out on loan.

Torres looked lively today. Not only did he score a goal, he also won most headers and was always fighting to win the ball back after Arsenal got it. He did miss a great chance to go 2-0 up but I've said it more than once already that if his game looks like that, he may even get away with those horror misses every once in a while. Cech MOTM for me.

My head hurts. My friends asked me to join them for a small gathering and I went there thinking I'm not drinking anything and the idea was to go home early to catch some sleep.
