I dont know if i'd stretch that far, could be true, but both Cahill and JT were wayyy too passive in defense. They seemed scared to make any tackles, which was just bizzare to see at times. Like Draxler should have been tackled years before he made that pass to Huntelaar. Felipe Luis was the only defender who seemed to know tackling was part of the job. Shocking scenes in defense i must say.

Can only blame ourselves, and those are draws/loses that i can deal with. Yeah we should have put the game to bed, yes Cesc and Drogs should have scored, but unless this becomes a recurring theme (not taking chances, like last year) just gotta move on. Though i gotta say our offense has been immense, really know how to carve out good chances. Though i will say i saw a lot of passive defending, only Felipe Luis seemed to put in tackles. Both Cahill & JT were backing off way too much for my liking. Just got to move on.

I doubt it, because he doesn't have the 'flair' of Messi, Ronaldo or Suarez who score just as much but from all phases of attack. He does the dirty work in defense, and doesn't score from FKs or go on those magical runs either. In my book, if he scores like 40 goals in all comps, then he should be considered, but i highly doubt it. Not that its fair but, it is what it is.

Then stopped, looked at the 2 defenders, looked at the ball, then back at the defenders, made plans for after the game, then passed to Oscar who passed to Remy for his goal was a joy to watch. Hazard- Costa- Fabregas and even Oscar were sublime today...they looked like they've been playing for years on end, great stuff.

yeah i thought the same, they can just start with One of Aguero/Dzeko and move yaya in CAM or start with navas on the wings. CIty are fine imo, if they lose Aguero to injury then they should start to worry.

Probably a Home-grown player to play a bit-part role..We got Matic/Mikel for DM..And Cesc/Rambo for the other CM spot...the fifth player will not play much but because MvG wasn't HG i guess he had to leave, and also for his development/recovery from that ACL injury. Idk tbh, but whoever we sign, i bet it will most likely be a HG player.
