  1. Not gonna lie, my interest in this potential transfer has been rising uncontrollably the past few days/weeks. I still can't stomach how we've spent 50 million on that RW and we still have issues. Just need to buy Reus and get a CB (whoever that may be).
  2. We really need to go on a convincing run of games now, (in the Premier League specifically)where we go like 7 wins and 2 draws. If we keep harping on about how we've had the toughest first half of the campaign and how City have all these tough games to play, then we need to start producing that form we had earlier in the season. Anyways, for this game, i think the same lineup that featured against West Ham will happen, only put Azpi as RB and Luis as LB. Then lets smash 'em!
  3. I can now go to Church. Hahaha That was a Godsend!
  4. Burnley could pull of the impossible and possibly win!
  5. I know everyone keeps saying this, but if Willian and Schurrle could some how pull some Dragon Ball Z Fusion shit...wow what a player that would be. As bad as Schurrle is defending, he makes it up with his direct goal getting desire. We could have put 3 if Costa took that chance, and even at 1-0, i was hoping for him to come on and force something, anything because Costa, Cesc, and Hazard had no help what so ever from Willian.
  6. As great as that win was, all i can think about is Hazard and that achilles. Those are nasty injuries, usually always lengthy. Hope for the best.
  7. Willian has been poor, i would put in Oscar if it was up to me. We essentially have 2 DMs, and Willian is not going to make up for that loss of creativity through the middle. Subs: Oscar for Willian.
  8. Wow.. just typical Newcatle. I hope we draw Liverpool, smash em over two legs then knouckout Spurs in the final, that would be a dream come true.
  9. Welcome to the forum! Hope you enjoy your time on here. Always good to see a person in the states follow the Blues! :blue scalf:
  10. Spot fucking on. We used to say "managers dont play youth because they might face the sack. The pressure of potentially getting fired for poor results meant senior players HAD to play all games regardless of injury situation." And that "once we got a manager for the long haul we'd finally see youth given the chance" It iritates me that Kalas had the game of his life at Liverpool away but then gets shipped off on loan?! Where's the reward for taking that ONLY chance and owning it? And your absolutely right, I see our rivals play youth players almost every other game, but God forbid we entrusted Ake or RLC to start in CM vs Leicester/Burnley, that would be blasphemy. We could never win a game with youth products starting or playing significant minutes. What happened vs Sporting with RLC was the last straw for me, basically a friendly match and only 10mins..wow. And the circus surrounding his senior debut was embarrising given the lack of time he played. There are absolutely no excuses to justify why our youth players arent given more chances.
  11. He has a massive man crush on Azpilicueta "the best one on one defender in the PL" Ivanovic he dives a lot and "like to get forward, has an eye for goal like a striker" Willian "has such great work rate" Dont know why he always gets our matches, tired of his same BS statements.
  12. There's not much we can do now, the moment Bayern bottled it i knew they were through. They can never 'just qualify' everything has to be achieved in a sensationalist/miracle like/ circumstances. Its not unsettling because they still have never passed the round of 16, until that happens (or they get Monaco)...no reason to fret just yet.
  13. Its not like they'll win the damn thing, so im not that fussed.. actually hope we pick them if they make it to the qtrs......haha who are we kidding
  14. This is why we built an 8 point lead lads, for days like this. I know 3 pts. isn't much and that we have to play perfect during these stretch of games while city play cupcakes to keep this slender lead but it was never going to be easy. As for the city vs everton game...beyond dissapointed in the match itself, let alone the referee.
  15. Completely agree, there's an interesting stat that read "The team with the best home record has won the last 10 premier league titles." IIRC. Make Stamford Bridge a fortress again, we need to kill the likes of Sunderland and Newcastle when they set foot in SW London. Do that, and we can still win the title, maybe not run away with it but definitely win.
  16. Thats what i really wanted to see happen for Ashley Cole...hopefully AS Roma win the Serie A
  17. Damn, just when he was most likely gonna get a start in CM or play major minutes in our last Champions League group match. I swear our youth guys are cursed when it comes to picking up injuries at the worst of times. I remember last year with MvG and how JM wanted him here but he picked up an ACL injury, or with Sturridge for the beginning of the 2012/2013 season when Torres was his only competition. Fucking blows, because i don't know when he'll get major minutes again in the foreseeable future.
  18. Not worried for this match because i think they will play right into our hands. Theres no way this Newcastle team can defend for 90mins, no shot. I expect it to be end to end stuff. What up with Rambo is he injured? Im gonna assume so, wasnt on the bench for last two games. What i would like to see: Tibo Azpi-Jt-Cahill-Luis Cesc-Mikel Willian-Hazard-Schurrle Costa There might be too many risks starting Mikel and Rambo together for the first time all season, and the pivot is vital to everthing, so i wouldnt even be upset with a rambo on RW even though we have grown to dread that proposition.
