Willian has been poor, i would put in Oscar if it was up to me. We essentially have 2 DMs, and Willian is not going to make up for that loss of creativity through the middle. Subs: Oscar for Willian.

Wow.. just typical Newcatle. I hope we draw Liverpool, smash em over two legs then knouckout Spurs in the final, that would be a dream come true.

Welcome to the forum! Hope you enjoy your time on here. Always good to see a person in the states follow the Blues! :blue scalf:

Spot fucking on. We used to say "managers dont play youth because they might face the sack. The pressure of potentially getting fired for poor results meant senior players HAD to play all games regardless of injury situation." And that "once we got a manager for the long haul we'd finally see youth given the chance" It iritates me that Kalas had the game of his life at Liverpool away but then gets shipped off on loan?! Where's the reward for taking that ONLY chance and owning it? And your absolutely right, I see our rivals play youth players almost every other game, but God forbid we entrusted Ake or RLC to start in CM vs Leicester/Burnley, that would be blasphemy. We could never win a game with youth products starting or playing significant minutes. What happened vs Sporting with RLC was the last straw for me, basically a friendly match and only 10mins..wow. And the circus surrounding his senior debut was embarrising given the lack of time he played. There are absolutely no excuses to justify why our youth players arent given more chances.

He has a massive man crush on Azpilicueta "the best one on one defender in the PL" Ivanovic he dives a lot and "like to get forward, has an eye for goal like a striker" Willian "has such great work rate" Dont know why he always gets our matches, tired of his same BS statements.

There's not much we can do now, the moment Bayern bottled it i knew they were through. They can never 'just qualify' everything has to be achieved in a sensationalist/miracle like/ circumstances. Its not unsettling because they still have never passed the round of 16, until that happens (or they get Monaco)...no reason to fret just yet.
-
Its not like they'll win the damn thing, so im not that fussed.. actually hope we pick them if they make it to the qtrs......haha who are we kidding

Where's the A.R. ava and sig!?This is not LDN Blue!

This is why we built an 8 point lead lads, for days like this. I know 3 pts. isn't much and that we have to play perfect during these stretch of games while city play cupcakes to keep this slender lead but it was never going to be easy. As for the city vs everton game...beyond dissapointed in the match itself, let alone the referee.

Completely agree, there's an interesting stat that read "The team with the best home record has won the last 10 premier league titles." IIRC. Make Stamford Bridge a fortress again, we need to kill the likes of Sunderland and Newcastle when they set foot in SW London. Do that, and we can still win the title, maybe not run away with it but definitely win.

Thats what i really wanted to see happen for Ashley Cole...hopefully AS Roma win the Serie A
-
Shiiiiiieeeeeeett, ok i'll change it once i get home. Its better to have love and lost than never to have ......aw fuck it!

It took me forever to try and get it to 400kb haha, Thanks brah, its the Holy Grail of gifs.

Damn, just when he was most likely gonna get a start in CM or play major minutes in our last Champions League group match. I swear our youth guys are cursed when it comes to picking up injuries at the worst of times. I remember last year with MvG and how JM wanted him here but he picked up an ACL injury, or with Sturridge for the beginning of the 2012/2013 season when Torres was his only competition. Fucking blows, because i don't know when he'll get major minutes again in the foreseeable future.

LMAOOO Got this from the spurs forum

Not worried for this match because i think they will play right into our hands. Theres no way this Newcastle team can defend for 90mins, no shot. I expect it to be end to end stuff. What up with Rambo is he injured? Im gonna assume so, wasnt on the bench for last two games. What i would like to see: Tibo Azpi-Jt-Cahill-Luis Cesc-Mikel Willian-Hazard-Schurrle Costa There might be too many risks starting Mikel and Rambo together for the first time all season, and the pivot is vital to everthing, so i wouldnt even be upset with a rambo on RW even though we have grown to dread that proposition.

Like a real Legend should! Drogba the Timeless One.

In the words of @Sheva "bend it like Zoumma" He looked good tonight, though the backing off was worrisome, looked like Cahill was still playing at times. He seems to have trouble concentrating at times. He lost his marker (Vertonghen) for the corner, but also one of his blocks was a lucky fling at the ball because he was preoccupied looking for the striker. He'll get better with time, if JM rates him, he cant be a scrub, just got to work hard in training.
-
Exactly. We've said everything there is to say, and all the Lampard defenders have gone crawling into their caves.

Its December, lets start to rotate please. Because whats the point of having a big world class squad if your not gonna utilize options off the bench. I'd like to see Schurrle, Rambo, Remy and Luis come into the fray. Tibo Azpi--Cahill-JT--Luis ----Rambo----Matic-- Schurrle-Cesc--Hazard -----------Remy I'd like to see Cesc in the predominate #10 position, he's had some immaculate games there even though his favorite position (as said by the man himself) is the CM role. i highly doubt Spurs will man mark Cesc, and even if they tried i don't think they would be able to shut him out from the game. But with Rambo (hopefully he's healthy) we can have that much needed energizer bunny making runs when the game gets stretched. Same thing with Schurrle, who is very direct and even though he's been in a rut, he hasn't had many opprotunites to change his fortune around, maybe Wednesday will be the day.
-
Same. And hearing those City fans sing his name... And Apparently his loan is not ending until the season is over. Remember it was only to stay fit. Then it was only to play 5 min cameos here and there. Well now its until the EPL season is over then he'll join NYFC in the States.

Not gonna lie that was a game last year we definitely would have lost. Game was so open, end to end stuff but we failed to capitalize on the breaks, things just didn't move quick enough and nobody was willing to make runs...it happens. I also was looking for both Remy and Schurrle to come on at say the 60min mark, i truly believe we would have had some better chances had they come on sooner. I was surprised that Costa came off i would have let him finish the 90 mins since he wont be playing on wednesday but i was ok with. I agree with the sentiment that we need to rotate, something that JM is pretty allergic to doing. Last year we had that crazy December schedule and JM refused to change the back line at all during those games. We have the squad he wants, so utilize it. There are other people on the bench besides Drogba that can come on and help the team out. (and no im not knocking Drogs, but damn-it i wanna see other people too) Rambo, Remy, Schurrle (even though he still seems to be in the dog-house), Luis, Mikel, we need to really make sure we're getting the best out of our squad and that can only happen with rotation. Ideally against Spurs, we see this Courtois -Azpi--Cahill--JT--Luis ----Rambo--Matic-- Schurrle--Cesc--Hazard --------Drogba Otherwise, bring on Spurs, have a bad feeling about that game though, hope im wrong!

Absolutely. But you will never hear that from the media. I owned my mate the other day (Arsenal Fan) that he should be thanking us because we're the reason he even has his 4th place trophy. If it wasn't for us Winning CL, and Europa and getting to the Semis last year, England would have lost their 4 spots. But no. The media hardly ever give us our respect, and the FA even fucked us over when we asked them for an extra days rest before Atletico Madrid 2nd leg last season. It doesn't even amaze me anymore.
-
Really want Ake to come on now, is he on the bench? also Remy for Costa..at some point later on
-
Really...no Luis? Really? Really? Wow, ok then.
