Many thanks for Conte for two thropies. We won EPL with mediocre squad is a testament to Conte tactic. But it looks like the board want to go to another direction. A more front footed approach, next season it is going to be a very bumpy ride.

Ronaldo to juve is a good move for everyone. People will say that he is way too expensive. For me no, especially for serie A. This is a good move to build serie A reputation. The problem right now is I think real will go for hazard and courtois. People say mbappe, maybe but either one is going to be crazy money signing

I disagree saying that Giroud and pogba has been dissapointment. Giroud played his job for France and pogba played quite well imo, not brilliant but well enough.

I have watched France 3 times this wc. He has been terrific at covering and winning the ball for France. Imo first player on team sheet for France with griezman.

If we were still the old Chelsea, where we can spend and spend. I absolutely agree that let's sign a quality cb and a dm. But in reality if we try to get both, we will just sign two average players. I rather sign a really good dm and have cahill, zouma or Luiz as backup rather than having rugani and an average dm.

I only watched napoli once against city and it wasn't the full game. Hopefully you are right that having good passers in cb is enough because last season my biggest problem especially when we play with 352,is the lack of passing from deep. Kante was free most of the time but his passing was too conservative and I think napoli played jorginho which I heard to be pretty good passers as their dm

As much as I agree that Cahill and zouma will struggle, we are no longer the old chelsea where we can keep spending big money on multiple position. Imo we need major upgrade in midfield and maybe a right winger. If we spend too much on cb, we will just sign average player as midfield, which we don't need. People will say we can play Barkley, rlc with kante as holder. That looks like a good midfield but none of them are terrific passer. As much as I like kante, his passing is average for a midfield. Last year, whenever Fabregas struggle or don't play, we really lack somebody to deliver quick pass to hazard, hence hazard need to pick up the ball deeper which reduce his effectiveness

We have Rudi, Christensen, zouma and Cahill that is enough imo if we revert back to back 4. We need a passers in midfield, imo the most pressing need and maybe another winger. I definitely want better fb but if we play with 4 at the back we have 5 fb already.

I am honestly quite afraid for next season. We haven't signed anybody, our manager situation is not clear yet. Plus, our squad is not exactly great. I rated our squad last year similar or slightly better than pool. They have definitely improve with keita, fabinho and van dijk. Spurs doesn't have many holes in their team. United and city have far more superior squad than ours even without any signing.

You cannot bring messi ,icardi,higuain, dybala and aguero to the team. Way too many strikers. Messi is in. Now you pick 3 or those 4. If you said leaves aguero, aguero has been one of the best striker in epl for years. Then leave Higuain, higuain is their only target man, sometimes you need that kind of player. Then you say leave dybala, dybala can provide some magic.

No 10 is considered to be luxury player in modern football, unless he is one of your best player it is hard to justify playing a no 10.

If we insist on playing two in midfield then not sure we need a lampardesque player. A deep playmaker like Tony Kroos will be brilliant.

I finally watch Belgium play and Hazard looked brilliant against Tunisia. It was very easy. Wity belgium he doesn't have to be everything. Carrasco made countless overlap run, creating havoc and space for Hazard. Plus they have kdb running and providing pass to the front 3.

If Sarri is our new manager and he play the same style as napoli, I hope our fans will be patient. I think we will lose tons of games next season unless of course we made tons of quality signing, but we will have more front footed approach in most games.

This, I am completely agree with this. Unless Madrid is in rebuild mode, Conte make no sense.

Honestly quite surprised that he is left out. I haven't watched Spain play for quite sometime but last time I watched Diego play for Spain, his game is just not clean enough for Spain. I thought Morata is a better fit but his form with us this season has been worrisome
