This is the one that is kinda funny. I was also in Lukaku camp,even now I still believe that Lukaku is suited to EPL and us better than Morata but I have defended Morata so much because I can see if he can improve his physical aspect we will have a complete striker in our hand.

Like @The Skipper said, it comes down to system. There is a reason why michy thrive in BVB. Michy is a damn good finisher, better than Morata, maybe better than Costa. In Bvb their striker is not required to be involved in build up that much, hence it fit the way auba and michy play. In our team, the striker is asked to hold up the ball and involve in build up, if he struggle, everything will fall apart in term of our attacking play.

Please tell me that you have watched auba play and not saying that based on stat only. Aubameyang is a poacher, his involvement in the attack is very limited. He is not suitable to our team at all. There is a reason why grioud has been quite decent for us albeit his poor finishing and really lack of pace

I disagree. Kante is the best ball winner in the world but his passing is not at the same level as Cesc. Just watch us when we play 352 and kante as holder, his passing is way too conservative and that cannot happen when you are the one with most freedom.

Against Barca, I agree he was anonymous but we barely had a touch the whole game. But he wasn't the reason we lost, we made too many mistakes and it just happened to the ball fall on Mess. I think you need to watch more of our games and then watch the other big team especially what each team are asking their best attacking player to do. Salah for example, POTY this season. Against us today, did he pick up the ball deep and create or did he try to play on the shoulder of defender and run into space. Sane for City, stay wide to create space for KDB and silva to create CR7, a poacher. Like i mentioned in previous post, I can only compare Hazard role to Messi role in Barca this season, at times you are asked to be the sole creator. The percentage is always against you

In the beginning of the season, I was Salah skeptic but he has proved me wrong. Yes he will score tons of goals again next season, he is just suited the way this liverpool play, just watch how firmino created that one opening for Salah where he drop deep and just suddenly release through ball for Salah. it was perfect for pacy winger like Salah.

Imo if you say that Hazard had terrible season then you are crazy. He is by far our best player, our offense run through Hazard like almost 100% of the time. Without him, we simply have no offensive outlet. If you expect him to be great every game then you are asking too much from one player. There is no such thing as "club" style. It is usually players and managers that will dictate the style of play. Even Barcelona with their tiki taka does not play that way at all this season.

I like that idea. But we need two more midfielder, one as holder and the other to replace fab. If we really want to develop youth then rlc and Barkley can play Fabregas role. Kante can play the box to box role, Conte like to play him as holder. I am not so sure why. Yes his on the ball skill has improved significantly but most of the time holder will be the one player that has the most amount of space and he need to be aggressive with his passing. Kante passing is too conservative for my liking.

You can say that for most game especially big game but our performance today was fantastic. We minimize Liverpool chances yet we created a few good chances on the other end.

Raheem sterling??? Please tell me you have watched city play and count the number of chances that they created. Like I said i saw sterling scored a hattrick and missed 2-3 sitters. I can't remember hazard having such easy game

This. I am tired of convincing people how hazard number is severely restricted by the way we play. Put this hazard team on City or pool team, he will be the same player but he will produce crazy number.

If rahim sterling can score 20 goals. Yes Raheem sterling. Player who I watched miss 3 sitters in one game yet score hattrick in that game can score 20 goals in a season playing in a system where you create not only 3 chances a game but 10, hazard can score at least 35.

If you want more production then surround him with better talent and better system. You put hazard on this Liverpool team and not only Hazard will put up crazy number but this Liverpool team offensively will be almost unstoppable

For me wc wing back. I think simply just from today game, you can see the amount of times Moses got one one battle with plenty of space or empty space and he simply fail to capitalize.

If you forget the numbers and watched the two player play, it is obvious. The problem with Hazard is he is the sole creator. He has to do so much. We need to get him more help.

Fantastic performance and result. That is how to play against Liverpool, long ball, sit deep and counter. As long as you don't turn the ball over in your own half from their press you have a chance. Firmino, Mane and Salah are fantastic but none of them are world class creator. If you sit deep and they will not really create that much
