For me I understand the idea behind baka, rudi and Morata. Zappacosta and drinkwater signing make 0 sense. Giroud signing make sense, Barkley is cheap, Emerson need to play more.

His current form is worrying but it will take time for him to at least get back to early season form. Comparing Morata to Costa is unfair for so many reason. First Costa is tailored made for EPL, his game is all about physicality and aggressiveness which is rewarded in EPL. Plus he is familiar being the star striker for a team. Morata is far from finish article. If he can get stronger, we will have a very good all around striker in our hand. That might be the case but Morata can't be first choice and fortunate to be in the squad at all on recent form. The problem for Spain is that they don't really produce striker. Morata is their best bet for a no 9. If you watch Costa for Spain, it just feel wrong.

Like most people here said, we need to give him time. For a player whose game does not suit EPL football his goal scoring record is not that bad. He simply need to go to they gym and get stronger and he will be fine.

Yes, it was an average squad. I said last year when we won and somebody created a thread asking whether that team was the our best ever team.I said Individually that team is average but as a team it was good. We won last year simply because everyone was confused how to play 343,now 343 is not a surprised anymore. For me our biggest problem this season was failing to sign damn good wb. I don't care what formation Conte want to play but if he want to play 343,The two wb has to be really good. Our two first choiceS wb are Moses who has awful final delivery and Alonso who is too slow and awful at one on one against winger.

It all depend how we want to play. Salah is in terrific form, he will walk into our team but our game is not as direct as pool. Firmino does not really hold the ball which will make him useless for Conte system. Can is definitely better than Bakayoko right now. For me it is important not to have attacking mentality. It sounds weird because we have to score but we have to be patient because Barca will give you a chance. If you play against Barca and start giving space especially to Messi, more times than not you will get punished.
