The problem is not the footballer but the way many team play. Ultra defensive and pray that you will score either from opp mistake or set pieces. Some teams don't even have any plan on how to hurt the other team, they just play safe and hopefully get a lucky goal. Portugal may won last euro but their game in euro was hard to watch. It is true that getting a result at nou camp is extremely difficult but if we open up too much we will give Messi too much space. Yes, it is just one player but not any player. Nah, some people here brought up after he scored in 3 straight games that Michy is actually a damn good striker that is not given chance in our team. That is why people start talking after he stop scoring. For me, I have no regret selling Salah. If you want to get the best of Salah, you need to play in a very direct system which what is employed by Liverpool. The same for michy, if you want to get the best out of him, play him as a poacher so he is not that involved with the build up then he is really good because his finishing ability if fantastic.

For me, I will judge Morata next season. His game is not suited to EPL at all, he lack physicality to play as target man in EPL. It is harder to find quality if you don't want to pay, plus it is hard to find player that suit Conte system. I wish that he can be more flexible. Having said that most of successful manager tend to play specific way.

This. I am tired of defending Conte on Costa saga. If a player want to leave and there is a interest from the other party and the price make sense, you sell him. People complained about Luiz at the same time complainining about how the young player in Chelsea is not given a chance. I knew that we are not going to finish above United this season. Their team is better than us last season yet they spend more than us again this season. It is impossible to keep finishing above team who on paper is a much better team.

I think Conte is gone this summer. He has been at war with Chelsea board since last summer. I agree in what you said. The way we play feel wrong. We have stopped pressing. It just feel like everybody has given up.

We know we won't have many possession against Guardiola team but we don't look like scoring at all. Why not bring Giroud earlier and play route one football. At least it will create chaos on City backline
