I thought this was the idea since the beginning to play oscar,fabregas and matic. It does not matter the setup (4-3-3/4-2-3-1) oscar,fabregas and matic are flexible enough to play in either system. I have no idea about how fabregas defensively as pivot but our attacking players are just brilliant defensively surely it is not going to be a problem.

I think 4-3-3 with oscar, fabregas and matic make sense. I can see Oscar playing his high pressing role during defensive phase and drop back (which he tends to do anyway) in attack and let fabregas go forward more.

I don't think their squad is more balance with kroos. Di maria was outstanding last season with RM because he gave them balance that they need. Really suprise if this happen, I am not sure khedira, modric and kroos are good combination

I can see it being used for offside but not for foul. I am not sure how it is being used in rugby but in american football and basketball, they have extensive use of video technology but they don't use it for foul because foul call is subjective.
