Oscar has Willian as his competitor, we have 5 young player for 3 positions (I think save to say 4 players for 2 positions because hazard will play almost all our games) that is enough or mata/kdb will happen again. I am not sure about barkley as pivot, if he is groomed by Everton to be a midfield probably, but clearly he is going to play that no 10 position for Everton.

I am not sure about Barkley as pivot. His movement and dribbling is good but his passing is just ok and I'm not sure about his defensive skill. Furthermore we need to develop him as pivot since I don't see any reason for Everton to play him as pivot.

I think it is more of due the nature of our crossing, if you see the way city FB cross,their fullback overlap into penalty box whereas our crossing usually comes from deep.

He crossed pretty well last season but he is playing as LB right now and you can see from time to times he does not feel comfortable crossing/dribbling with his left foot.

Agree such as shame that he can't flourish in Mou system. When he is allowed to play as no free role no 10, it is just fantastic how he can dominate a game with his movement and passing.

I will say success because all I care is progress and we finally play with some kind of system. In term of result, I think we have been fine. I wanted us to at least compete for EPL and we are, it is kinda hard to judge our UCL progress because we have been very lucky with our draw (arguable the weakest group +gala) I am pretty sure we are going to be better next season, the question is how much better because next season my expectation is no longer competing for EPL but win EPL and go deep in UCL.
