Moses won't be a 'world-beater'. He's a talented player like Sturridge..but it doesn't look like he'll be on the same level as Hazard, Oscar.
The good thing about Moses is that he's a big upgrade on Kalou.

In terms of a new DM, another option could be Ettiene Capoue. He's a talented DM, with the ability to slot in at CB if needed. He's been on the radar of English clubs since the end of last season, Arsenal & Spurs scouted him twice, QPR put in a bid for him..but Capoue said he'd prefer to play for a 'bigger' club.
Definitely agree about the need for 2 strikers and a new CB.

I would 'tolerate' the guy who at least runs and wants to score. Fair enough Danny has his issues but the abuse he gets when Torres gets PRAISED for the doing WORSE is disgusting. You have a guy who falls over the ball getting his name chanted for 5 minutes straight while Sturridge gets abuse for missing chances that Torres would never work to get.

I agree. He is never going to get a chance here and some fans are making life difficult for him. He's too good to play second fiddle to the joker that is currently in his position.

Well Torres is the most likely reason why Sturridge has yet to sign a new contract. He knows he's just as good, if not better than Torres atm...but what can you do, we're sacrificing a talented young striker who isn't afraid to shoot in order to keep the hopeless Torres as our main striker.
It's clear that Torres should be the one to go first..but considering no club would be stupid enough to pay him 175,000 a week...the chances of Torres leaving in January are very low.

    Likely Ins:
A Striker cause Torres just isn't clinical in front of goal.
A DM/CM cause I'm not convinced about Romeu.. My option: Capoue.

    Likely outs:
    Malouda to Brazil or France..
    Maybe Sturridge?

The only thing Torres is better than Sturridge currently is loosing the ball and failing to shoot

How shall I call them then if they don't wanna accept a fact? Deluded? Blinded? It's about damn time to come clear. Backing Torres for no logical reason should stop now. He's wasted his opportunities, why not finally start backing a young, very talented striker, who hasn't even had the chance to show us his full potential so far, instead of slagging him with phrases like "He's shooting too much"?!
"Yada yada yada" is another expression for "blah blah blah". It's English, no?

yeah, people seem to think that was once come back from injury your 100%.
overal he had a good game, at least he scored compared to the other guy. he worked hard for the team and although he made some very silly judgments like trying to score when on the line he did play some beautiful passes to moses who unfortunately couldn't finish. i got to say a one-two punch of moses and studge can be something special down the line.

Why are you comparing Sturridge to Hazard? Everyone knows Sturridge has an ego, that he's selfish..blah blah...but at least he tries to shoot on goal, unlike Torres. I bet Torres wouldn't have scored the 4th goal tonight.

Completely agree, I think Sturridge will flourish, playing behind a true CF. The kid knows how to score, has quite a few tricks up his sleeve...but unfortunately, I see him leaving Chelsea in search of more first team football.

I can't count how many games Torres has had with us which were worse than what Sturridge had tonight.
I expect even more support for Sturridge considering the fact he cost us way less, has never just walked down the tunnel after being subbed off, didn't come from a scum team, blah blah blah, I could go on and on.
Sturridge was constantly beating defenders, applying pressure, closing down opponents and creating magic with Moses.
He lacked composure at times, was unlucky with a touch or two, and took as many shots as he could when at times passing was the better option - but who wouldn't play in such a way after spending the previous season on the wing, then being kept out of the team by a misfiring striker who gets more support than the actual club itself at times?
The worst thing I read during the same was something to do with Torres being the better passer out of the two.
Our striker isn't supposed to be a playmaker. Our striker is supposed to do what Sturridge did tonight - hassle the opposition at all times; something we see very rarely from Fernando.
Finally; Keep in mind he just had an injury not that long ago, and has started for us as a central striker maybe 5 times in his career, if even that.

Basically you don't know for sure what Mourinho's going to do either. Besides, it's not just Real who could use "more options".
Let's not call your "opinions" facts and say others are "wrong" just because they disagree with you.

The same Real Madrid (and Mourinho) want to use Modric as part of their double pivot, so I'm not sure what exactly you are trying to say.

you dont get it do you? Lampard and Mikel have played well there when we park the bus! in an attacking team they are not good enough! Oscar has never played in a double pivot before and that position wont suit him and Ramires cant play as a box to box midfielder in a 4-2-3-1!

But Drogba was rare, he had an affinity with the fans of every club he played for, to the point where one of his first clubs named a new stadium after him.
Torres is Atletico true and true, I doubt he would really care about either Scouse fans or ourselves; compared with his home fans.
