Don't call me racist, but maybe white strikers just aren't our thing? I mean down the recent years our best goalscorers have been black guys: Drogba, Anelka, Hasselbaink. The only exception being Gudjohnsen. However, look at our caucasian flops: Kezman, Mutu, Shevchenko, Pizarro, Torres. You could add Crespo to that list, even though he wasn't a bad player nor a flop, he never broke through despite that. Judging by this scientific evidence I say bring in fast black strikers and ditch the white pansies . Actually scratch that, we need more black players in general. Our best times were when we had a prominent dark presence, it's fading away now. We need to incorporate Mikel, Ba and Moses back in the team ASAP before we get overrun by white trash. Wingers need to stay white though. So fuck all the Falcaos and Cavanis and Lewandowskis. We should have kept Sturridge, our attacking trio of Ba, Danny and Lukaku would have become deadly in the following seasons. Maybe Tommy had a point all along.

LOL how can this cunt be so dumb, is it because he's blonde or what? He had no reason to get in his way, it's not like Marko ran into him, Torres literally stepped in front of him. The way Marin evaded those 2 opponents was pretty nice though, great control of the ball - something El Golscoro lacks, she relies solely on lucky bounces to get past his man.
-
LMAO, this is golden.
-
Any videos or gifs of Torres' throw-in shot and tackle on Marin?
-
Counterproductive, maybe?
-
Was he really that bad yesterday? I would love to see one of those "every touch" videos of his performance, sadly I think no one makes them of him anymore.
-
Was she innocent though? That's also theorizing and jumping to conclusions without knowing any facts. @Rmpr, have you ever been to gang infested favelas? I've watched the Ross Kemp on Gangs documentaries about gang violence all over the world and Brazil was also represented. It looked bad in the favelas, really bad.

So one needs to shoot 4 times before stopping and having a good look at who he's shooting at? I don't buy that. 1 shot out of startle and confusion = understandable self defense attempt. 4 shots, 1 headshot = intentional killing.

Another "this will do his confidence the world of good" moment gone begging.

@bushman, can I ask you one question? How can you possibly claim to know what Roman thinks or feels when he's probably the richest man in the UK to have never spoken a word to the media?
-
I don't know. Maybe his son was crying because of how shit we played and Roman was all smiles and happy because he finally had an excuse to sack the useless turd.
-
He seemed rather pleased lifting the CL trophy.

I don't see a problem. Everything is correct, the club decided they didn't need him anymore and gave him an option to leave during the summer. He decided to stay and fair enough because he has every right to as per the contract, but the club doesn't have to play him just because of that. If they don't need him, then they don't need him. He was written off before the season began and it shouldn't come as a surprise to him or anyone else that he's nowhere to be seen anymore. Last season we all wanted him to fuck off, I mean he was so bad people literally preferred Kalou over him. He's still on payroll, true, that's a slight miscalculation by the club, but I for one am glad he's practically gone and we can put the horror show known as Kalouda to bed.

Players You're Gutted We Never Signed
manpe replied to The only place to be's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
At one point I was pissed we didn't sign David Silva, I really liked him and still do. But if losing him means we gained Mata, then I'm OK with that. Missing out on Modric was also devastating, especially since his strong links to us gave high hopes and looked certain at some times. To hell with Agüero, we snatched up Torres at a bargain price instead - WIN! -
Congrats Victor, you made us all proud :blue scalf: Lmao, they gave him a Note II as if he couldn't afford one himself
-
A great tribute to Drogba's THE penalty kick.
-
And the amazing thing is that at that time our attack was nowhere near the individual pedigree we have now. The only one out of the lot to be considered near world class level was Robben, but he was missing half the time. This emphasizes vividly the difference between the teams - we have far flashier players now, but we haven't had a team half as good as the 2004-2006 ensemble ever since. What's also astonishing in my opinion, is that the players collective was fairly new to each other, we had quite a large overhaul, but they clicked instantly to produce a nearly unbeatable first season together. Oh Mourinho...
-
How far off is he from 20 goals this season?
-
Can't believe we won, have forgotten how it feels like. Lampard will get his contract once he's got the record, at the moment he's motivated to give his all.
-
Tim Berners-Lee must be shedding a few tears seeing how fruitfully his invention is being utilized.
-
The most amazing thing about this goal is how easy he made it look. If I didn't know anything about football and saw this, I would think such goals are standard and scored in every match. The time when Dids was unplayable... Gotta give some respect to Carragher for acknowledging that.

^ Somebody should put the Quake 3 "jewiwiashon" sound over this video everytime Zola humiliates one them

Congratulations, have you learned to walk already?

You're just oozing class. Point proven.
