Spot on. I, too, cannot see anyone wanting him. The question also remains that even if those dodgy luxury clubs would come for him, would Torres himself want to go there? It is a place where people cash in before retirement, but he is only 29, he probably thinks he's good enough to play for us or any other European team. He would basically assassinate his national team career, which is in jeopardy even now. The truth is that no other sensible European team would want him and none of them will ever pay his current wages. His options are either A) take a huge paycut or go kill his career in the East if somebody is willing to match his wages. If he is a greedy cunt, he will do a Bogarde and stay here even if it means rotting in the reserves, which I don't think will ever happen. I think he would rather take a cut and leave, it's just that the club hasn't given the ultimatum yet like they did to Malouda. I believe if the club really want him out, they can do it. Torres gives the impression he'd be easier to crack than Malouda. The real question is do the club still want him after 2 full seasons of absolute nothingness? Maybe they will think "oh well, after the transition is finished successfully and he's 33 years old, maybe he will hit gear then"... this is what I fear the most, that they are going to write this season off as 'transition', thus excusing Torres from any kind of blame yet again. But anybody with half a brain sees that he doesn't love Chelsea, Chelsea doesn't love him, this relationship just doesn't work and it needs to be terminated ASAP. I just hope to fuck that they will realize it in the next transfer window and we'll be without the haunting shadows from Liverpool. Plus as Benitez couldn't revive him and he'll be off anyway, then I can't see them genuinely thinking that "maybe the next manager will perform miracles", I just can't. I truly think that this horrendous spell under Benitez is the last straw, probably the final test to evaluate if the investment has well and truly failed.

Should we put our faith in the youth?

Realistically speaking, no. You get experience in Chelsea by going on loan. preferrably 10 loans. -

Suggesting that he's ready to be first team player next season at the age of 18 with no real experience is going overboard. -
True. Torres has had 2 full years at Chelsea, 2 full floppy years, but the club has done absolutely nothing to rectify this multimillion mistake. In fact they made it worse by doing the things you said (making him automatic nr. 1 despite having had a horrible season previously and all that other shit). It's amazing how clueless that is, we have probably the most stubborn board in the world... and not the good kind of stubborn, but the kind of stubborn which drags you down. Imagine Barcelona, Man United or Real sticking with a striker like Torres after their legendary striker has just left. Seriously, imagine Real declaring they're going to make someone like Torres their automatic nr. 1 after Raul left. That would be just amazing, we would be laughing at them, their fans would be fuming, they would actually suffer greatly in terms of results. Yet we are that kind of clowns and nobody is even surprised because that is what you would already expect from the clueless cunts up top.

That's what I thought. -

Who is this Feruz chap? I keep hearing his name but haven't even seen him play. Is he so good that people consider him a definite first team player without even having made a debut? -
Lmao what a fucking useless twat. The pass by Lampard was sublime though, people would have gone berzerk if Pirlo had made that.
-
Who do our players want to play for though? Spoilt fucks being the main reason why most of our managers have got the boot.

I would like to bring this topic up again. It's much more comfortable and faster to browse forums on Tapatalk than on native browser mobile skins. It also has nice extra features like push messages, for example when you subscribe to a thread you will get live updates about new posts rather than going online and refreshing. It takes a few minutes to install and after that you can forget about it, here's a link to installation instructions: http://tapatalk.com/activate_tapatalk.php?plugin=ipb

How is it possible to stalk people on the internet? EVERYTHING you put up on your social accounts for others to see can't be called stalking if somebody actually views them. Like wtf? It is however if you peek through a fence hole

Not on topic, but yesterday I switched over to Chrome over a long time and I really like it, but youtube videos lag as hell. It's almost impossible to watch them. Wtf is that about? What's wrong? They were smooth in Opera. I would hate to ditch Chrome again because of that.

Lmao, gotta love how Neil never actually asks questions. "That was a nice goal" - great question. "Short corner, Oscar's cross, David Luiz back to you" - Give this man a Pulitzer!

Agreed. I used to nominate him a while back every month, but gave up in the end because nobody else backed him up. This time I will also nominate The Skipper, he's deserved it long ago imo.

Fuck no, Mourinho is good but not this good. We don't want another sheva situation over his head.

Think about this people - fifty million pounds. That's 7 zeros. I mean fifty million... come on! That's too much for anything other than benefiting the planet or philanthropy. It's actually disgusting to comprehend. Why the fuck is this kind of money wasted on footballers? Shit footballers even more. Torres in his prime was never worth this kind of sum, not to mention January 2011.

I just watched his press conference and to be fair to him, he was cautious not to slate the fans as a whole, he stressed that he meant the "group of fans with an agenda", which means the boo group whos agenda is to get Benitez sacked, nothing more nothing less. Of course it will get on your nerves, but the thing is he couldn't have expected much more after the pathetic showings the team has put on on consistent basis. Naturally the stick will fall on the manager and on a very unpopular manager it will fall even harder. About the interim tag, who cares? Everybody knows he's interim whether he has the tag or not. Although it's true it doesn't command much respect. Rafa was the worst option to bring in and it was the worst option for him to come back into the game. If he's a masochist and likes the challenge and pressure, then okay, but this press conference proved that's not the case. So it was a major cock up by the club and Rafa himself.

The solution is simple - shower Robbie with gifts and humble apologies, maybe even send Eva in a big surprise cake behind his door, and bring him back.

There was this situation yesterday where he was played through on goal by JT with millions of miles clear from the closest defender, but he still managed to flop it. The next time somebody blames the service.... I don't know what I'm gonna do.

The only reason for anyone to consider Torres the scorer is to desperately make him look better than he is. Torres is a wanker and he deserves no credit for the goal. In fact he was lucky not to block the shot completely like he did the other day.
