The guy has been playing basically non-stop for two years now, barely gets a rest and always gives his all. And considering how much work our defenders must do due to non-existent midfield, I think he is exhausted. It's not easy being one of Mourinho's untouchables.

I have no doubt that we will play the same ol' line-up, possibly even Mikel-Matic pairing again, because it is the mighty high rolling West Ham and as per that logic we must "secure" our midfield with those two classy players. But we're playing home, so maybe we'll take a "risk" with Fabregas-Mikel. The season is over, youth and fringe players need to be introduced. I want to see this: Begovic Azpi - Miazga - Terry - Baba Fabregas - Mikel Willian - Cheeks - Kenedy Traore No doubt we'll lose with that line-up, but who cares.

When will the idiotic Messi and Ronaldo comparisons stop? In our team only Marin can be compared to Messi, and he's out on loan.

Remy and probably Matic need to leave and Falcao is a goner anyway, additionally Ramires already left. The squad is thin as it is, so we can't sell a bunch. Ideally I would like to see the back of Oscar too, but I don't think that's gonna happen. The ones who in my opinion need to stay at all costs are Terry, Hazard, Willian, Zouma, Azpi and Courtois.

Maybe he's still adjusting to the positional change? He was played at LB exclusively for 2 seasons, at RB he's been since JT's injury about a month ago. But I agree, Azpi hasn't been anywhere near his solid self and it actually started before he was moved to the other side..

Completely agree. Apart from the goal Costa didn't do much, constantly offside or bad decision making and losing the ball. I also agree that Cesc was probably our best player. Also thought Azpilicueta was very bad with 2 fatal mistakes for both goals. Mikel was okay.

Fabregas is comfortably our best midfielder in this form. He's improved his defensive game to the point where he's better than Matic at it and completely runs the show in possession. MOTM. Costa took his goal very well, but overall was frustrating with the ball. Expected more. Hazard tried, but couldn't pull anything off. Encouraging that he's at least trying to shoot. Azpilicueta at fault for the second goal, uncharacteristic. Same kind of mistake got Schürrle ostracized by Mourinho, but this one was much worse. Kenedy ananymous, Baba would have been better. Overall performance of the team 7/10 - showed good signs of intent, but lacked concentration and quality in certain situations that decided the game.

This is possibly the most attacking line-up we can field, I'm just worried that this line-up would struggle to keep a clean sheet against Sunderland let alone PSG.

If he is anything like Drogba, he will score a brace and celebrate in the face of Blanc like Didi did to Rafa. Well, in comparison Costa has only netted once in UCL for us in two seasons, and that was the 3rd goal in a 4-0 beating against Maccabi Tel Aviv. Still waiting for Diego to turn up in big games. I'm not so sure Cavani would be a downgrade like implied.
