I don't mind, you win the league against the smaller teams in this league.

Fabregas is such a good player. I hope he stays for another season.

If you guys don't mind Russian commentaries then acestream id f3879ebe809becfbbb30bd1fbb48b923739bba61 works perfectly.

Costa is too erratic to be made the face of the club, it will never happen. He is the type of player who needs a strong captain to keep him in check. Azpilicueta or Luiz will be, they are leaders on the pitch, model professionals, great characters and never surrounded by controversy. I certainly hope one of them will represent my club once JT hangs up. Kante? Too quiet and shy, don't see a captain in him.

Zouma got quite a shot in him

Maybe it's because of our intimidating initiation song tradition?

Weren't we a point above relegation when Jose was sacked? And he was also given a vote of confidence shortly before sacking. Eerily similar to how our season went, like some kind of champions curse. Anyway, why now? I don't understand the timing. Unless it was decided before that it will happen after the Sevilla game regardless of result.

I don't think about that, I have a simple thought process. It's not a competition we're in, Monaco is a great sympathetic team and I don't like Shitty, so I hope they get knocked the f out and stay as far away from winning the CL as possible.

Hacking murdered girls phones, WTF? Ah yeah, throwing matches is nothing new. It was a major problem, maybe still is over here. Organized criminal betting groups over here in Estonia too mainly from Asia, and it's not difficult because our footballers don't earn much, so some are happy to, for example, nonchalantly tie their boots while in the process of being scored against (true story, was so blatant and funny). And it "isn't at all suspcious" when some random Asian groups appear in attendance, keeping in mind that our average premier league football attendance is in tens or maybe hundreds, so they stand out like a sore thumb.
-
Makes sense. But what does the betting company get out of it when they had to pay out a five figure sum? I don't believe many people would bet on this nonsense except for those who knew he would do it, and bookies always look to cash in than pay out. If it's just for (bad) publicity is it really worth it? I have never bet on anything and I don't know the ins and outs of gambling world, but it just seems like a waste of money to me for a few mentions of the company name in a few ridiculous articles. Out of curiosity, what happened in snooker and cricket? Distant sports to me, I don't even have any clue what cricket is about, so I haven't seen anything.
-
Does it involve eating pie though? It was not a footballing bet.
-
Not Bernardo's fault, Monaco bottled it during set-pieces and because of a bad keeper. And nothing is over, 2-0 is enough for Monaco to progress, I expect them to absolutely go for it at home. Don't forget City are maybe the biggest bottlers in Europe, hopefully they choke big time.

If he was our product he wouldn't get a look in, we'd sell or loan him instead and buy somebody else.
-
He was decent, performed a couple of nice moves, but I noticed he is quite lightweight. Not sure as I haven't seen him enough, but against City he was pushed aside too easily a couple of times. Nevertheless potential for greater things is definitely there.
-
What an amazing game that City Monaco was. Credit to both shit goalkeepers and defences for making it a spectacle. Can't wait for the 2nd leg, Monaco will throw everything they have at Shitty and hopefully win. Btw can we sign Mbappe, Bernardo, Sidibe and Bakayoko pretty please? That Falcao guy looks great too

Explains the porn ads then.

All is well in the world when the biggest thing in an Arsenal match is a fat bloke eating pie. Meanwhile... Morrisons approach Sutton United goalkeeper Wayne Shaw to become official 'pie-taster' Shaw confirmed that he knew about the offer, which raises the prospect of a Football Association investigation into a possible breach of betting rules. Sutton United goalkeeper Wayne Shaw has resigned from the National League side after being asked to step down by the club after he ate a pie live on television during the FA Cup defeat by Arsenal on Monday night.

That's what I thought. I would rather have a pure goal-oriented winger with unpredictable movement who makes penetrating runs and whatnot, we already have Eden to do the coming deep and making plays stuff when necessary. If Isco played wide for us then we'd be in the same situation as before with Willian where both our wide players like to come inside towards the ball. I like Pedro's style more, he is ruthless in his movement and eye for goal, it balances us.
-
I don't know where Isco would fit here, a quality winger would be a more logical choice.
-
Depends on who else we buy. If he was chucked into this squad playing 3-4-3 then the only place I see for him is RAM replacing Pedro/Willian. Or is he defensively solid enough to play in midfield 2? I doubt it. We either stick him on the wing as a wide playmaker or alter the formation for a nr. 10 (3-5-2).
-
Yeah, we weren't a possession based team under Mou, Zouma fit his tactics very well. But Conte who is more similar to Guardiola (not as extreme) in his philosophy to play out the back makes Zouma a liability in his current state.
-
When a young player is getting so much hype to the point of being given the cursed title of "the next Messi" I get very cautious. It is more a rule than exception that those players fade and never live up to expectations. Gotta stay positive though I guess.
-
Spot on. We are not helping him at all by having Alonso and Matic as the closest players to him and benching Fabregas. Good workhorses and defenders, below par attacking intelligence and/or technical ability to effectively combine with Eden. And as you said, this problem is all over the field. Expecting him to do everything alone is one-man-team a la Liverpool mentality. Hazard has proved he can win alone when conditions are right for him to perform like that, but with proper teammates it would be much more consistent and responsibility to create something more divided across the pitch. I expect this issue to be solved in the summer.

Some of the best and most intense games we've played have been in domestic cups, especially FA Cup. One thing that established us as a domestic powerhouse were our triumphs in cups, not only in the league. I don't understand how you are incapable of appreciating that, but that's not my problem.
