  1. Everton striker Romelu Lukaku shows he's still a Chelsea fan with five-a-side dream team picks - and there is no room for his Goodison team-mates Romelu Lukaku's best five-a-side team leans on his former Chelsea team-mates None of the current Everton squad make it into his five-a-side selections Lukaku described Frank Lampard as 'the best I've seen' in the Premier League Courtois Kompany - Terry Lampard Drogba
  2. Yeah this is how I see it too. I don't take those comments as direct swipes at us (maybe only a little), but rather the media. But tbf, it is a lot more than just sitting back and counter-attacking, Conte has made us a formidable fluid attacking side when need be. It is not boring to watch and we are flexible in terms of how we can play. Tactically we are more abundantly equipped than what we were under Mourinho, we have a plan going forward even when we are on the backfoot. And the other side of the story is that we finished 10th last season, now running away with the title this season... praise is merited regardless of how we play. Mourinho is just bitter, he is becoming a wengeresque voyeur with his constant comments about other teams. Contrast it to Conte, who after the loss to Arsenal said it was not the time to think about others, but clean the mess in your own house first.
  3. Don't start me on lack of knowledge, you yourself often talk shit about things you don't understand. Casillas plays in a mickey mouse Portuguese league because he was deemed crap and has been past his best for a long time now. He also had a horrible season recently at Porto. Would you swap Courtois for Casillas? Of course you would, who doesn't want a better player. Valdes may be a better ball player, he must be as a Barca graduate, maybe you should have pointed that out more clearly in that sentence rather than simply referring to real great goalkeepers. I don't contest that point, but I do contest the point that Valdes is better overall.
  4. Problem being that seculars don't give a rat's ass about what some religion says. Somebody deviates from the norm = reason to mistreat. In some cases lying, stealing, fornication especially are a thing of pride for people. But the moment somebody is of different race or sexual orientation gives bigots reason to express their lost love when they were children.
  5. Yes, it was the case you were stating. No, slavery is not the same as being gay or w/e more LGBT stands for, who claimed it to be? Kindly refer to that post please.
  6. Give it up mate, you're talking to a guy who thinks being discriminated, persecuted and killed/imprisoned in some places is a choice of lifestyle.
  7. Did you just call Casillas and Valdes better than Courtois? That's it... I'm done.
  8. Eden Hazard reveals that Arsenal's big mistake against Chelsea was trying to take him out Good read.
  9. Possibly fake news https://www.reddit.com/r/worldnews/comments/5scsid/police_go_on_strike_in_brazil_cities_being_wiped/ Any Brazilians here can confirm?
  10. Yes please! Loving that Estonian flag on the away kit Make it happen Nike.
  11. Don't know him. What are his strengths and weaknesses? What position(s) does he play?
  12. http://highlightsfootball.com/video/super-frank-lampard-farewell/ some great videos there.
  13. My greatest player of all time. I maybe wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him. My greatest memory of him is the penalty against Liverpool shortly after his mother's passing, I cried. One time had his picture in my signature of his celebration after the penalty where he pointed to the sky. Outstanding player. Now that this legend has retired let's share our stories, What is your best memory of Frank Lampard?
  14. Even if they were I'd give them the middle finger.
  15. Is he ever not injured? He plays like 5 games a season for them.
  16. He is key, he enables us to play 3-4-3. Without him, imagine Matic and Fabregas running our midfield - we'd get regularly slaughtered. We can afford to play only 2 midfielders thanks to him. Kante at the moment is indispensable to us and he was the same at Leicester. His impact may be bigger than we initially thought, with him Leicester of all clubs won the league, now they are in ruins after he left. We were in ruins last season, but he joins and all of a sudden we look much better. Of course it's too simplistic to say that it is all on Kante, but no doubt he makes a BIG difference and it is rare to see one player making such an impact straight away even when he was new to the league.
  17. So they tried to sign him from France, but couldn't because Leicester financially outmuscled them? GG Wenger, shit club.
  18. Nathan Ake has broken through at Chelsea and is determined to keep his place Lol what.. One cup game and he has "broken through"? Like Bertrand broke through? He didn't even make the bench against pool. If past evidence is anything to go by then by next season he'll be loaned out again, sold or far behind in the pecking order. He is obviously a stop-gap between January and summer because we couldn't sign anybody. His positions will be strengthened by imports and he will soon be forgotten at this club, that's my prediction. All this hype around him is unnecessary at the moment, he hasn't proven anything and if this keeps up then his head will be turned by the hype like countless other former future superstars.
  19. You can count on us to spoil their party.
  20. Tbf had the keeper gone the other way we'd all be praising the penalty. It just happened that this time the keeper guessed it right, it happens.
  21. Those two players alone would improve us so much, it's a shame it will never happen
  22. Because we have come to expect it, he is pretty bad when it comes to making decisive decisions. He was far worse than Hazard, but only he gets singled out when our front 3 are performing poorly.
