  1. Gündogan is toast, he won't play much anyway. Jesus is young and unproven, easily benched and rotated as a squad player. 4-1-4-1 with a DM, whoever that will be, Pep doesn't do defence anyway. If they can convince some quality players to embrace the bench, then good for them, otherwise they will need to sell. They still have Nolito for example, he will probably be gone.
  2. I don't rate him, that's true. Good backup to have a la Willian, not good enough to be an undisputed starter in my opinion. Let's see how he fares against Bernardo.
  3. They need better and have got someone better.
  4. Sterling, lol. Agüero Sane - KDB - D.Silva - B.Silva He fits in, unfortunately.
  5. Yes, not competitive in Europe, I agree. What assumptions? You quoted Clockwork and I quoted you, I was replying to both of you, not only you, so no assumptions. Even if I missed your point, it was still relevant to what Clockwork said and you seemed to agree with him with that picture and saying "the truth, it hurts", hence why I quoted you as somebody who agreed with him.
  6. Tbf Mourinho has always included community shields in his trophy count, it's just his way of inflating his ego. It's okay to win it, why not, but to brag about a treble that is barely a double is just hilarious. Their season has been a failure, he's trying to switch the narrative to it having been a successful one. Our EPL win alone overshadows their "treble", and if we get the FA Cup then that is a real double with 50x more credibility than their cute little treble.
  7. No, the original point by @Clockwork and the post you quoted was about the league. If you are changing the subject to Champions League, then that's a whole different story and has nothing to do with what I said.
  8. Cancelled this sunday, will there be one later?
  9. I think there already is. The problem is that there are too many of them, many of whom people don't realize to suspect. Like the Manchester bomber, people who knew him said he was the last person they expected to do something like this. This also applies to many serial killers - they don't bark before biting. The reality is that there are too many of such people, it's simply impossible for intelligence agencies to root out every single one of them, and it takes only one to cause major disaster. I'm sure many atrocities have been prevented too, but we only see and hear about those that took place. I fear there is no solution other than complete segregation and division of people without access to each other, which you cannot imagine in a "free world". Responsibility lies with the people who started poking the Middle East and African nations out of greed, causing grief and destruction, which in turn resulted in vengeful hatred fueled by religious cultism. And those western leaders who forced uncontrolled mass immigration onto their own soil and into their own peoples' homes. It is no coincidence that terror acts in Europe have skyrocketed during the immigration crisis, common people feared that it would happen from the start, but did the decision-makers listen? Fuck no, it was lucrative business for somebody somewhere. They share the blood on their hands with terrorists.
  10. Lol, they write that biased shit and call themselves "independent".
  11. Yeah, what I meant was that this news didn't "shock" me like it would have 5-7 years ago when it would have been an isolated case in Europe. I'm still disgusted thinking about those incidents, I want to meet those self-proclaimed jihadists myself and torture them beyond the limits of my imagination. All I tried to say was when something becomes common, people become used to it (in other words desensitized), and it is a sad representation of the state of our world when you expect things like this to happen every day. As it didn't happen here I'm not as emotionally invested in it as the Englishmen over here and I obviously should have expressed my point differently as shown by your reaction. Excuse my poor timing and choice of words mate. I am also very sorry for those affected directly or indirectly by this event.
  12. It can be competitive and entertaining at the same time. In fact competition breeds entertainment, this is why leagues like in Spain, France, Italy are boring. A competitive league can consist of great teams and shit teams, doesn't matter, lack of quality doesn't exclude nor include competitiveness - both are separate things that can coexist. How people can suggest that EPL isn't the most competitive among elite leagues is beyond me, what is it then? We start each season with 6 title hopefuls, what other elite league has that? Yes it is full of mediocre teams that can beat each other and as such the league winner isn't pre-decided before the season starts, isn't that like the definition of tough competition?
  13. You said not to talk about feelings I know fuck all about, i think i know my own feelings better than anyone. I do feel disgust and anger (not noteworthy for me as i feel that often), but some 5-7 years ago it would have been worse when people weren't being killed left and right. I was merely trying to stress the unfortunate state of the world, not play down the event. I own the mistake of saying "we will forget" however, as that is not a fair generalisation and only used that as an hyperbole, for which i am sorry. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  14. Nobody is arguing that this is evil, but mass killing people is too common in the world and practically everyday news now. Btw, I don't have any pictures in facebook, I don't participate in such trivialities, so you can kindly keep your attempts at insulting me to yourself, I'm not swayed.
  15. I just realized how desensitized I have become towards events like this. It's become so common that hearing this news didn't evoke any noteworthy emotions in me, just another day in the world. People will colour their facebook pictures, then soon something new will happen and we will forget all about this.
  16. What incident? Anyway, I've heard a lot of people describe JT as a "legend of Chelsea", of that particular club. But for me, he is a legend of the game. In the same bracket as the Maldinis and Beckenbauers, he deserves to be remembered as one of the greatest defenders and captains of all time anywhere, not just at Stamford Bridge. I grew up falling in love with football and Chelsea watching John and Frank, the main men for me, now both are gone, both incredible legends of the game.
  17. Very impressive. Azpi has acted as an auxiliary midfielder in his role and he does it so well. People tend to see Luiz as our builder from the back because 1/10 of his long passes finds the target, but to me it's clear as day that Azpi is the real orchestrator at the back and those stats back it up. Captain material.
  18. JT doesn't fit the system, yet you put Duff at RWB and Kante LWB?
  19. Fair enough, didn't watch the video, went with what other people said here and assumed he didn't say a word. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  20. If he doesn't know the language then he should just keep his mouth shut imo. It's embarrassing when you act all tough on the internet, but can't get a word out in real life by yourself.
  21. How does he write in English in twitter then? I don't get it how can one write fairly well but not speak the language. For what it's worth I'm not a fan of his tweeting like others seem to be, imo it's childish and because of that I kinda understand why Conte doesn't trust a child in a man's body to lead title aspirers' line. Doesn't seem like he takes his job seriously, maybe a loan will do him good so he can mature playing against men in a team that needs his qualities more than we do.
  22. Yup been happening for a few months now I think.
