Same formation? If 3-4-3 then Alonso is the only possible inclusion, but a full-back I can't see past Gallas of 04/05. Fabregas a good inclusion and an integral part of us being champions despite not being a starter. Perhaps having both Kante and Makelele in there is overkill, but my idea was that Kante plays the box-to-box destroyer role, Maka holds deep and Lampsy gets unleashed to batter through with DD and Robben, Hazard supporting - insane. Full license to get forward for Azpi and Gallas. Playing both also eliminates the need for 5 at the back, can afford to throw more players forward with surely no-one getting past Riccy, JT, Maka and Kante on the break.

What do you think will we play yoof in our remaining league matches or will Conte not want to disrupt the team chemistry before the FA Cup final? I think we'll see a few fringe inclusions (Ake, Batsman, Zouma) but will largely still play our key players.

Talking about Cahill, I don't see how we can afford to lose so many HG players in one window. No way we'd be able to replace the outgoing players (JT, GC, Bego) with any sort of quality, only other option would be to fill the squad with U21 players who we know will not be used and would make the squad thinner than it already is. Cahill needs to stay regardless who we sign, and Conte needs to find a way to keep him happy if he does get replaced.

I had the same question. It sounds like Morata has all of a sudden become a pub player. I remember when he was leaving Juventus and Real bought him back for peanuts, a lot of people were disappointed that Real decided to activate the buy-back clause and we didn't get him. Put Morata in a team where he plays every game and he will deliver.

I like Monaco, but I doubt they have what it takes to stop Real Madrid. They are a young and inexperienced, but zealous team with no real ability to defend, while Real are playing some extraterrestrial stuff at times. Juventus would be a better match to them in the final, of that I am pretty sure. And in order to stop Real from winning it again, I'd rather Juventus made it through and went all the way.
