Anyway, I've heard a lot of people describe JT as a "legend of Chelsea", of that particular club. But for me, he is a legend of the game. In the same bracket as the Maldinis and Beckenbauers, he deserves to be remembered as one of the greatest defenders and captains of all time anywhere, not just at Stamford Bridge. I grew up falling in love with football and Chelsea watching John and Frank, the main men for me, now both are gone, both incredible legends of the game.
