  1. I counted Mata's as 35, and Hazard's as 25. http://forum.talkchelsea.net/topic/7342-2012-13-season-stats-and-results/
  2. ^ only consolation is they can only admire your own dick-sucking qualities, Raph!
  3. I just want to know why all the players look like they're about to suck a dick.
  4. If Mourinho wants him, we'll get him. Only PSG and City can match us for wealth - and Ronaldo definitely wouldn't go to City out of a love for United. PSG would be a threat, but anyone with ambition would choose the EPL over Ligue Un.
  5. Released 10 June. Only one disc, so don't expect any special features. Again.
  6. Yes, transition. Unless Mourinho is going to offer Ferreira a new contract, re-sign Carvalho, Bridge, Robben, Duff and Drogba, and recall Essien. Transition doesn't just happen overnight.
  7. Dear all, I would like to very nicely and respectively request that you all fuck off with your shit, obviously fake twitter rumours. Much love, Alex. xxxx
  8. The fact there's nothing been written about Isco to Chelsea for some time makes me think this one is dead. I thoroughly expect him to follow Manuel Pellegrini to City.
  9. City will win the league next season. Their squad barely needs tweaking, just a manager who has something resembling a brain. United will be in a period of transition, as will we, but can see them ending well off the pace. Can see City running away with it and us/Arsenal fighting for 2nd and 3rd. Fancy an improving Liverpool to pip the Yids to fourth. Arsenal to finish in the top four as well, at United's expense (can see them having a dodgy season under Moyes). Stoke, Hull and Norwich to go down.
  10. Basically, Ba is the Anelka to Cavani's/Lewandowski's/Falcao's/Rooney's/Lukaku's Drogba.
  11. Haha, very good point. Only at Chelsea....
  12. I agree. When you see us play, we don't really even play with a striker. That is why it is so difficult for Ba and Torres, because they have had to adapt their play to an incredible extent. This team has always focused around the attacking midfield talents of various players since the Mourinho tenure, and things aren't likely to change. That is one the hallmarks of a Mourinho team - the striker does the donkey work. Drogba was just an absolute freak of nature and the best striker I think will ever play for us, and we have been disappointed by Ba and Torres because Didier is such a tough act to follow. Drogba was selfless and gave his all for the team (for the most part), and it was his bullying of defenders that created opportunities and space for the likes of Essien, Lampard, Joe Cole, Ballack, etc. Our team almost excludes strikers in the way it plays, and they have to perform magnificently to join in on the act. My point is this - Mourinho had Crespo, Drogba, and Gudjohnsen in 05/06. Yes, they all contributed goals, but none of them were, at the time, world-class. We won the title that season because of the contribution of the entire team, and the strikers acted as the main attacking fulcrum. So, as far as I'm concerned, spending £50 million on another striker that will flop is pointless. Better to keep Torres, Ba and Lukaku.
  13. Especially Paul Hawksby, you'd get more sense out of the rear end of a yak suffering from severe diarrhoea.
  14. If he plays in either game against City, I swear I'll murder someone.
  15. WE'VE GOT ALL YOUR CUPS, WE'VE GOT ALL YOUR CUPS FUCK OFF UEFA, WE'VE GOT ALL YOUR CUPS!
  16. Haha, fair point. But I don't personally think Torres has had a terrible season. To the contrary, I think he's had a good season. We have to realise he is not the 40 goals a season man we thought we'd signed, but a half-decent second option. He's scored 23 goals this season, which is actually the second-best tally of his career - and you don't score goals by playing badly.
  17. Boring as fuck. THAT is a proper England strip!
  18. Why would they? His shirts sell phenomenally well. Even if he has been a bad signing on the pitch, off the pitch he has been a revelation. Managed to encourage Mata to sign, and has made millions selling shirts with TORRES 9 on the back. The club wouldn't give that up any time soon.
  19. ^ well, it doesn't technically rule anything out, but it would be very surprising indeed if adidas went with the same design for an away shirt. They did say on the official adidas twitter page that the touted away and alternate shirts were training gear. Could well be right.
  20. Your "fans" threw bananas at him and called him a monkey, did you expect him to laugh it off? Jesus Christ...
  21. I sincerely hope we sign de Rossi ahead of Fellaini. The gulf in class is considerable.
  22. Happy birthday to the greatest goalkeeper we will ever have!
