Every time Torres has looked even close to a half-decent player for us, the weight of expectation has absolutely crippled him. If Cavani comes in and scores 15 goals next season, and not the 35-45 everyone will expect, the exact same will happen. The media will want him to fail before the ink even dries on the contract.

I'd rather see him go to Arsenal than United for two reasons: He'd flourish there. I really like Fellaini as a player - you don't see many players as dynamic and combative as he is. It's Arsenal. He alone won't turn them into title-challengers. If he went to United, he'd dramatically boost their midfield, which is their weak-link. You look at United's frontline, defenders and goalkeeper and you think "yep, definitely worthy champions". Their midfield leaves a lot to be desired. If he went there and sat in the middle of the park alongside Carrick, and United managed to sign two decent wingers, then fuck me... title 21 in the bag.

For fuck's sake, I don't see what anyone sees in Hulk. Is it his surname that people like? So many better, cheaper options out there. Hulk is an Arsenal/Tottenham/Everton level player.

Schurrle is a step up on a player such as Moses or Kalou: he will be a brilliant addition as a squad player. People need to realise we can't sign an Eden Hazard or a Juan Mata every fucking time. This is not Football Manager.
