  1. I don't see him playing here at all next season, as he is nowhere near ready hence why he warms the bench at Swansea. Its not that their midfield is amazing either its just the fact he gets 10-15 minutes every 2 or 3 weeks if hes lucky and this was meant to speed up his development? Don't get me wrong I'm sure hes learned from their training but there is no point in him sitting warming the bench for them when he could of been at another club on loan actually playing.
  2. Hes going to Inter Milan... Andrea Stramaccioni has admitted that Lucas is their top target, well one of them. His style suits Italy better anyway as you get more time on the ball like in Brazil.
  3. I hope the away kit is all black with white trim on it, like this one from 2009.
  4. Heard positive news about Cahill and Luiz, apparently Cahill is more than likely to feature while Luiz could possibly. Only heard it on twitter though so who knows.
  5. Still doesn't convince me as a team orientated player, as in the fact hes extremely selfish.
  6. True but if Rami plays deeper it restricts his runs as the shield in front of the defense isn't there and nobody will cover for him. Plus Marin and Hulk probably aren't as great going back and helping the full back like Rami is! In fact when I've seen Hulk, when Porto are without the ball, he doesn't seem to do a lot of defending just pressing the ball in the opposition's half.
  7. More than likely that whoever is our manager will probably use Hulk as a left winger and Rami as a right winger, just for the fact Rami has too much pace to be used as a more defensive player.
  8. Totally agree, he is clearly ready to be the second striker and Sturridge should remain as a winger as he isn't exactly the physical beast we need up front. If we get another striker in though he needs to go on loan, that is a must.....
  9. Exactly. Just because they aren't at a big club or aren't a major name you can't say they aren't going to be good players. I mean honestly when Wigan first signed McCarthy I bet half their fans sat scoffing at him, wondering who the fuck he was despite major European clubs being linked with him...
  10. Sidwell was actually awful though, McCarthy is good.
  11. Fuller is leaving them and rumors say that Jerome is going to Bolton... plus Jones has barely played this year so he could be on his way out too?
  12. Yeah sadly enough we seem to look beyond homegrown players and go for overrated/average players from outside the UK who cost like 20 million.
  13. Higuain does want to leave Real Madrid and has offers from ourselfs, Manchester City and PSG according to Guillem Balague. Probably a bit late but yeah fuck it!
  14. Always been a great player, was simply far too good for the SPL at 17/18 and has done well at Wigan in the last few seasons. Wouldn't mind him in our midfield actually, got good ability on the ball, great work rate... so why not?
  15. Newcastle, Spurs and Liverpool won't challenge for the title but I reckon with a bit more investment Arsenal will next year. We need to get some deals done early though so we can be seen as major challengers rather than fade away like we did this year. City and United will probably be the top two again next season anyway but the league changes every year so you never know really....
  16. Don't bring up Falcao he has like 80 odd goals for Porto, we all know he is a pure beast! Some players in the Portuguese leagues have yet to prove themselves more in Europe but a lot of them who have moved on to bigger leagues have been successful. Falcao, Ronaldo, Nani, Carvalho, Ferreira, Deco and even Bosingwa at one stage has been quite successful in what ever league they have moved to. Queresma failed though, remember his time in Italy? Couldn't get games ahead of a 36 year old Luis Figo....
  17. One of the best strikers of his generation, despite him playing for United. Incredible goal stats too.
  18. Not 18 million yet Got to wait until he plays a certain amount of times and scores a certain amount of goals before Anderlecht will get the full 5 million add ons!
  19. and being wasted on the bench? lol well good luck to him!
  20. Lucas has 11 caps for Brazil because Mano Menezes is looking to build a really youthful side that will have matured for the 2014 World Cup, which is why so many young Brazilians, like Neymar, Lucas, Leandro Damiao, Casemiro and Kleber etc. are getting a chance to play more often than Gotze might with Germany... Still Gotze is a much better player, playing at a much higher standard, in a European league. Gotze also has 1 more cap than Lucas actually, as he has 12 and has scored 2 goals, one against Brazil and one against Austria.... while Lucas has 11 caps and 1 goal against Argentina. Germany have a much more established line up (team usually has Neuer, Lahm, Hummels, Schweinstager, Khedira, Ozil, Podolski and Gomez in it) so it remains likely that Lucas might end up with more caps than Gotze due to Menezes still looking for his best 11 while Joachim Low knows his. Still seems that Gotze will be part of his Euros squad probably starting or being on the bench but it will be harder for Joachim Low to experiment with a pretty established team compared to Mano Menezes who doesn't look like he has found his best 11 yet.... judging by the amount of debutantes recently.
  21. We must get him then as he is a good winger! Juve paid 9 million for him you say, so what we'd get him for like 12-14 mill? Imagine him and Hulk running the wings! EDIT: Wow was meant to quote someone there FML Btw this from his twitter on the 8th of May... might not mean anything but I reckon if he thought about coming here he would of said something different... Jonas Giæver ‏ @CheGiaevara @OficialHulk Enjoying watching your new team getting carved apart? ExpandReply Retweet Favorite Givanildo V. Souza ‏ @OficialHulk @CheGiaevara hahahah I still have a contract with FC Porto.
  22. Isn't Elia not struggling to get games at Juventus? Would be available for quite cheap if he was.
  23. Exactly if we get the right transfers done early and a manager in/give Robbie the job, we will be in a very positive position before the start of the season. Winning the CL would make us a much more attractive option for some players as well and we'd be back in the CL for the season coming up too.
  24. We need to move quicker in the transfer windows, get our business done early, especially this summer with Euro 2012 coming up..... don't want to sit negotiating with a club and then see that player do well at the Euros and have their prices inflate because of that. Anyway that Hulk deal better be confirmed in the next few days
