Think next season JT will be restricted to a squad player as he seems to get worse and worse every season now. Well for the last 2 years he has.

What where they keep all the old players who are past it and struggle to get someone to pay 3 million for someone like say.... Flo Malouda.... because he has about 100k wages? then they all go crazy like a bunch of idiots and end up destroying the team moral because they aren't playing and aren't happy? Ah the City downfall shall be a great one.

I think hes like Ajax's main RB actually! Still very much against him for his defending. For his positive influence going forward he is terrible doing the primary thing he is payed to do, defend!

The stick for David Luiz is going over the top, hes not a bad defender, no no no hes actually a great defender. Just hes too crazy sometimes, like hes been smoking crack. Should play it simple, tries the hollywood ball but still that is what makes him David Luiz. He was vital for us at key points of last season, in the CL against Benfica he was tremendous, blocked a shot off the line from Cardozo and marshaled him very well tbh. Also against Bayern in the final he was unbelievable for being 60-70 percent fit. Stop bashing on him, its early season yet his fitness probably isn't 100 percent as is much of the team but he'll hopefully only improve.

Got to move for this guy. Lacking depth at RB and now that Branna is suspended and misses the next 3 games, we could do with a high quality backup to challenge him for a place in the squad. Have to be honest, if we sign Debuchy I don't see Branna playing at RB any time soon unless Debuchy gets injured. I was speaking to another fan earlier about the Community Shield and he said Branna looked incredibly clumsy. In the pre-season games he didn't look completely reliable and had some bad moments in terms of positioning and when he had the ball at his feet as well, misplacing simple passes etc. He doesn't seem agile enough to be a RB either, hes very ermmm whats the word, lethargic... yeah lethargic. very sluggish.

Deco's chest pass there was absolute genius.

Expecting a win at least. Don't care what the score is. If I was Robbie I'd go for Luiz at RB imo, then take Cahill in to the middle. Unsure who will play there though could be Hutch, Luiz or even Bertrand. He played there with team GB.

I loved Deco, what a player. Even when he wasn't at Chelsea I still thought he was unreal. Such a shame we signed him when he was 30 or something.

Wasn't it not more a 4-3-2-1 with Malouda and Anelka tucked in more rather than out as natural wingers?

I wrote an idea in another thread about a certain formation we can play. Since others are pasting there ideas I will do the same .

If Mata and Hazard are going to play in the same team we might as well play 2 defensive midfielders as they offer no defensive cover at all. I'd be up for having Mikel and Witsel in the same team. May look negative but Witsel offers something in attacking anyway from set plays etc plus he is a decent passer of the ball who doesn't always go backwards constantly like Mikel (evidence: both games vs us in the CL). Also its not like they are the same player, they actually complement each other very well. Mikel is better at interceptions and distributing the ball, Witsel is much more aggressive and hard in the tackle compared to Mikel. Plus Witsel is much more mobile than Mikel.

Used to play as a midfielder when he was younger, wasn't good enough to play there, was played at CB, where he was obviously better by the time hes a Brazilian international footballer. End of story.

I remember a few goals from outside of the box. 1st one against Inter Milan, which was fucking amazing. 2nd one against Middlesbrough, which was equally as good. 3rd one against Fulham/Blackburn from a ridiculous place. Anyway hes better at scoring goals from in the box anyway, where we want him, rather than sitting as a CAM, being a useless waste of spunk.

We don't need a new RB lads we have "the golden oldie" Paulo Ferreira and Sam Hutchinson. Good enough cover if you ask me, if we want a RB we should resign Bosingwa.

He isn't injured now I don't think. Only said it because people are thinking Cavani could be Torres' strike partner. We will play with 1 striker likely but if it were up to me David Villa would be the perfect partner for him....as it worked effectively before.

What so if we played against United you'd be happy with Nani/Valencia up against Chalobah or Hutchinson........ I don't think so.

Why not try and sign David Villa if your looking for an ideal strike partner for Torres?? Common sense.

Branna was sent off and it was the right decision imo. I think we need a PROPER right back. Not a center back converted to a right back. Not just because Branna was sent off, just as you seen he was beaten to the ball by Kolarov of all people, hes literally one of the slowest full backs ever. Plus going forward hes too indecisive, he looks like he wants to cross it in, decides not too passes it backwards.

Seen his backheel, lolz. He'll get better in time, had a decent first half I heard, hes for the long term as much as the short term so we should be patient.

I would certainly take a risk on him. Scored 30 goals 2 seasons ago and was close to a move to UEFAlona. Also when he was at United he was there for a few years and was under 20 so wouldnt he not be classed as home grown?

True but we have got to try and take the likes of Zabaleta, Kolo Toure or Savic and expose them as they are ok but not the same quality as Richards and Kompany. We do that and we have every chance. Well if we do better than in pre season anyway...

Hes not that small either though, I think hes 5 ft 11.
